Please don’t buy a motor boat! I laughed when you compared the motoring mileage of this boat to your old sailing boat…. key word SAILING. Buy a better sailboat please, stop motoring so much.
She looks like a wonderful vessel. Is she a full displacement hull? (I'm not sure if you mentioned that or not) and does she have the range to do the long haul trips you want to do? The trawler review you did with Nautistyles looks like a good trans-ocean vessel. Great video as always and good luck finding what works for you

You’re talking about doing some expedition sailing here are a couple suggestions Ascension Island Saint Helena, Tristan da Cunha and South Georgia if I could do it, that’s where I would go

Maybe you guys should take a look at Hallberg-Rassy 69? It has that "old school" vibe with modern comfort, perfect for sailing the nordics but also the sunnier parts of the world

It's a beautiful boat but it needs too much to fit your lifestyle and needs. Barely 4 people and no storage. Needs all new gauges. Needs outside covering for the pilot area. Needs a lift . Just doesn't work for the type of motoring you do.

If you want to film a scene from the next Austin Powers film, this a the perfect boat. It's an awesome floating museum for known conditions.

I am not sure if there are any classic movie buffs. I got the 1951 movie The African Queen vibe from this boat. I can see Jason and Nikki as Charlie Allnut( Humphrey Bogart) and Nikki as Rose Sayer( Catherine Hepburn) 😊
