As a woman of 80, I love any thing to do with boats, as my father had a little inshore fishing boat, my brother had a boat like the Scottish herring fisherman, he also until his retirement was a member of Caister Lifeboat , Which is purely run on donations, hence the love of the sea. Your video and talks on what is going on in the oceans is absolutely fantastic. It is wonderful to hear, look and read this and know it is not A I which seems to bee taking over a lot more I go onto U Tube. Thank you again for all your work , looking forward to watching more of your videos.X

The shipyard that built that death trap , the naval architect , and the captain are guilty.They all knew that it was a death trap just waiting for the right moment…..
The owners?….If they are so clewer to get super rich , then, why they were so stupid to believe that boat without stability will not sink….

Great non bias reporting. Perhaps these reports should be presented to the board for consideration as they present well. The truth is any vessel at anchor with or without crew should have righted, even with keel up no matter the wind speed unless it were grounded which this yatch did not suffer. This wreck needs taking into water again and tested for righting moments which is easily performed with good holds and a crane too see the Hull integrity. Then we will know!

When I was a kid, I learned all about boats with too much top hamper from the one my father built. They take water too easily, they tip too easily, and they stay down in the water. I also sailed plenty of boats without too much weight up high; they don't tip very easily, they come back up from a steep heel, and they're not so hard to right. I don't think I would have taken a job on a boat with a mast that disproportionately tall, I would have looked at it and just gotten a bad feeling and gone looking for another job.

I'm not an expert by anymeans the the main mast looks so much bigger than others
Could it be top heavy ?
Why was it not closer to the sore ?
