The issue is the boaters might have done something to piss off the orcas, but they might not realize what they have done….the orcas could have been feeding etc and they, unknowingly, got in the way. The other thought is if they are juveniles they could have been playing with a “new toy” and having fun obviously the humans don’t think it’s fun. I would be interested in getting a marine biologists take on the incident.

These stupid fools in boats the same size as these whales intentionally getting into those whales space for photo opportunities and social media clout are getting the Marine version of FAFO and I’m all here for it.. fools

It might be a good idea to carry sum explosive device to cause discomfort to them to move them away. Don't for get they are meat eating mamals, and they live up to their name killer whales, it won't take long for them to realise, it is meals ina package.

The answer seems quite simple. Boats should detour around the area where the orcas are located. They obviously take exception to the boats passing through their home waters. If you know that boats are being damaged and you still decide to go through there, it seems like you're asking for trouble.
