We booked several months ago on MSC Poesia for the first Alaska Cruise on May 11th, 2026. A few weeks ago we were informed that we were upgraded to Yacht Club. We are absolutely super exited!!!! Can't wait!

I’m doing Magnifica Norway not YC but I’m hoping they do some minor refreshers generally. It would be great if in normal rooms the replaced the shower curtain with glass

I do entertain the thought of booking Magnifica because it’s the first YC sailing from my home port meaning no added price or hassle with flights and hotels.
(Unfortunately I believe we have other plans for the holiday-money so probably won’t happen anyway)

Alex, My Friend, Older ships are always OLDER. Not just about decor, but sound. Always louder, smell always worse, stay with the newer ships unless you go for low prices. Don't think that's your style.
I'll be looking for another adventure C.

I booked Alaska in October of 2024. Way before the up glow. Because of where I had originally booked, I received a complimentary upgrade. What …Alaska in YC I usually book YC so this cruse was gonna be different but now…I will be back . I am excited but the restaurant is on Deck 7 and the lounge is in front of the spa area that will be converted

We sailed on Fantasia last May in the Eastern Med, Loved it even the walk to the YC restaurant at the other end of the ship. If its up to that standard the great but not for more money. That said the lounge furniture was showing advanced wear on th seat cushions. I look forward to the results of the refurbishment of Fantasia´s sister ships

Option C and like you, I also doubt that the Yacht Club on these older ships will be the same as on the newer ships

Not Alaska, but Poesia will do the Caribbean afterwards
