Word is tim, he's trying to open Catalina by December 1st. Problem will be, without every dollar owed to the employees, no workers will return. With his money issues, I don't see that happening.

A Very concerning video – Wow!
Sailboat sales are in a complete tail spin as are boats in general Except Mega Yachts.
The quality boat brands he mentioned were hand held and well run. It is shocking that a conglomeration of these has taken place.
Disaster – this will not end well and it has already started going down hill.

Obvious absence of a succession plan at Catalina, which seems out of character for Frank Butler, unless there was no just viability. Word is heirs have been feuding over the bones since his death.

Strange that there was no mention of J-Boats as an ongoing US boat builder. My Freedom (1989 F32') was built in the same Bristol, RI factory as the J-Boats, and it is a work of art. Though it is 35 yrs old, it look like and performs like it just came off the assembly line. I hope that Daedelus, who also owns the Freedom molds and brand will bring back this terrific line of boats.
