With the caveat that all I know about boats (I'm an aviator) is what you, Alex, Jack Haines and Aquaholic have taught me, I do know a little about carbon fibre. This is a popular material for aircraft as it is very stiff and light. It does however have some downsides: very stiff structures transfer impact to the humans aboard and it is not easily repaired. Also, I wonder about the effect of its lightness on seakeeping, since Alex has previously stated that greater mass means better seakeeping in rougher water?

At 72ft, I'm not impressed with the layout or cabin spaces.
A lot of compromises to make it lightweight

What I can't understand with these designs is that they are millions of pounds, yet VIP's are expected to crawl on all fours into bed as there's no room at the side. Plus, there's no headroom in either cabin. The 3rd is a waste of time. I do not believe that lifting the headroom by 6 to 12 inches would compromise performance. Especially as this won't be travelling very far and fit a seakeeper if it rolled a bit more. Disappointing.
