Been a trusty follower of yours for a long time.
May i ask where you live?
Been over to Dover from Belgium on my trusty Antares 620 in june to catch up with some friends from the rock. I now fancy the Thames respectively leigh on sea for summer.
I'd love to see smaller boats on your channel as well. Might worth a thought.

The floorplan is surprising useable for such a small footprint/LOA. The galley needs a microwave/convection oven (easy change), but like having the duel heads (even if they are wet-heads), but that engine room is really impressive for the engine in-place. You could almost throw a crew/baggage berth in that space lol

It's not too bad, but I think the design isn't up to the standards you see in other tugs which are even smaller. This tug is about 44 feet, which is big. Even Nordic and American tugs are much better appointed more than 10 feet smaller. A better galley with full sized fridge/freezer, a spot next to the couch for a washer/dryer combo, and a stall shower. Sadly, for an extra ten feet they failed to install these comfort items for long cruising.
What this boat did have was a second head and quite a big second berth, but even that would be lacking compared to a vessel of comparable size – say an American Tug 435 is still better, and of course Nordic has nice models with a guest cabin when you go better than 34 feet.
If you want a great all round that you can take out for a day or a month, Ranger tug. If you're doing the American loop or something for a year straight and have a habit of longer cruises, you go American or Nordic tug. This boat isn't "bad" but it's a bit inferior.
