On the electric motor/battery, they should have a security locking system, ideally a cable and attachment point, both to deter theft and mitigate dropping it in the water.

Maybe someone can help identify a product I saw on a similar video from the past few years. It was an electric winch that acted with differing levels of power assist to the winching. They compared it to an electric assist in bicycles. I have not been able to find the video or product online.
