To me the hull shape is most important.
They can come in all kinds of ice classes.
But the shape determines if it’s a rolling and pitching ship that’s uncomfortable maybe even physically stressful ship.
You don’t want to be on a uncomfortable ship for long duration of time, as then fatigue will get to you.
