Note: realtors are motivated by purchasing sale, so they get their commission as well, both yours and theirs. Always the case. You have to look out for yourself. Its a buyers market in florida righ now. So no rush. Some sellers may already be selling at a asking price they feel is already reducted, considering home much the market has changed recently.

Wow.

This is why the UK system of house buying and selling is so slow. It is complex and requires the buyer to carry out inspections, surveys and or engineering report on the house. To expect all sellers to be totally honest indicates a naive system. Paying for the inspections as a buyer is the norm in most of the world.

There is no contractual agreement or change of any money until all the surveying and legal checks are done. Two months is a fast sale from the moment you say you want to buy it until it’s yours. Three months is more the norm.

You guys have unfortunately lost the plot with your channel, I really enjoyed your sailing adventures and stuck it out with your land based adventures in Puerto Rico but the channel has lost its appeal now, perhaps you should rethink the way forward…

I have nothing good to say about a realtor. The higher the price of the house the more money they make.
