Very nice boat. The only thing to keep in mind is that you will eventually have to deal with the screwed on teak decks. Either replace them (very expensive) or remove the teak and refinish the decks. Either one, wait until you get to a nice third world country where boat work is cheap and people willing to work with you. The danger is that water can get into the substrate of the decks and cause lots of extensive and expensive damage that affects deck strength and integrity. This is a common problem with older stye teak decks. Newer boats glue them down, not screw them. If you are seeing rust stains and the beginning of screw heads showing through, look out. Also never scrub your decks with a brush. This will gouge out the teak wood and accelerate problems. Use a scrub pad not a brush. You will enjoy this quality classic boat!!

I have a Vindö 32, Welcome to the world of long keelers, reverse is all about wind, tide and prop walk or prop wash. She will always try to point downwind when under power, tide pushes hard on the side of a long keel. Using sharp bursts of astern and ahead she will turn in her own length.
