i took sorting off of my boat. i do bank everything now. Fill the cargo, head to a dock, and one of your crewmates will bank it all with a brief dialogue. Back to salvaging. Sort later.

IRONMANS: I got a bit over 200 ensouled troll heads from 80-87 sailing and i banked them with soul bearer. Ensouled troll heads are 780 prayer xp each, so in my opinion they are worth to gather.

i use soul bearer on iron at fremenik ship
I'm not sure how much better it is. But as a qol tip especially if you want to split up afk time, you can afk the salvage for ages and fill up your cargo hold, spend 2 minutes dropping the cargo at the dock then after thousands of salvage you can go to the boat bank to sort it all when. You have the time to focus
I stopped working on sailing after 87. Working on building up my bank to get a t bow before the end of the year.
