  2. Done the yacht club twice on the Seascape and leaving next week for yah club on Grandiosa… Can't wait! Amazing experience!

  3. I’ve jokingly told my travel agent that the ONLY way I’ll step on an MSC ship is to do the Yacht Club. 😂 I’m happy that as a solo traveler channel you’re covering the Yacht Club and making it sound even more attractive! Thanks as always.

  4. Going in 2 weeks. MSC has upgraded me for the 2nd time from an interior yacht club room to a deluxe balcony yacht club room. I am blessed. I am a solo cruiser too. Yacht club is worth every penny. Really enjoy the "princess" treatment!

  5. I suspect the best thing about Yacht Club is keeping the riff raff out. Pretty sure they have a note with my picture at the guard desk saying, “Don’t let this guy in” 😊

  6. Went on my first MSC cruise last December. The YC was just stunning and the pricing was also OK-ish to me as a solo traveler, given the luxury experience. Going forward, it's only MSC YC for me (goodbye Virgin).

  7. We took the plunge a few years ago and tried YC for the first time. Time before was in gen pop. Had a nice time in regular cabin – BUT, the YC experience blew my mind. Now, every MSC cruise we go on is in YC, been on five of their ships now and each YC is different, and all have their best points – but love each and every one. Seascape booked for end March and World Europa in Sept – seriously cant get enough of it. Done many cruises on Princess ( Which I love) Virgin and P&O – but, MSC YC is my go to. So pleased you loved it too

  8. I did an MSC cruise a few years ago, and while it was good, it came across as much of a value cruise option. Which isn't bad for what it is. In fact, seeing some of their prices makes me wish I were closer to the ports to take advantage of the last-minute deals. It's not something I would have thought of as a luxury experience with the Yacht Club, but it might be something to try.

  9. We have an Explora Journeys cruise in a few weeks, and an MSC Yacht Club experience next year. I look forward to comparing the differences. That will be a really great experience!

  10. It's a cop out….. you're basically stranded in Yacht Club, trust me I've been there. Paying $1000s but the rest of the ship is overrun with the drunken living dead trailer trash. So, pay the money, and go on a properly high end cruise where the whole ship is high end. Everywhere is like Yacht Club not just a little enclave. Get a grip and pay the money….go Regent, Silversea, Seabourn, Crystal, Explora, Ponant, Ritz Carlton, and to a lesser extent Viking or Oceania

  11. Not solo friendly. Can go on Explora Journeys and have the whole ship rather than just a ship within a ship. I’ve priced both and have gone on Explora Journeys would never do yacht club.

  12. Have sailed MSC 6 times, 3 times on regular balcony cabins, twice on Yacht Club cabins, one deluxe interior cabin and once on a balcony cabins. Also once in their Aurea experience which is one level below YC but has some benefits such as separate entrance and section in the main dining room, separate area on the sun deck and a few other benefits. Absolutely satisfied with all, but the YC is a fantastic experience and great value. Definitely will choose MSC Yacht Club in any future cruise, the service was excellent and cannot beat the beauty of their newest ships.

  13. Hello, my husband, my son, our daughter-in-law and I have YC reservations for March. Can you please help me with what exactly the butlers do? People say the butlers are amazing and super busy so clearly I am missing something. The list of butler duties I currently have is: lead you on and off the ship (yay!), assist with reservations (great), room service (which we don’t usually do), escort (which we would not choose), unpack / pack (no thank you)… What am I missing?

    Thank you!

  14. when did cruises get so casual? the people are dressed like they're going to a flea market. and are normal size people aloud to cruise or must you provide ballast for the ship?

  15. Going back on the Meraviglia in 3 weeks. 3rd time in 6 months. First in YC. First was Fantastica and then Aurea. 2 future cruises also in YC on Seaside and World Atlantic. Excited about this one. Want to experience the YC on this ship.

  16. Are you sure that they don’t charge gratuities? I have read on other sites that they charge you daily gratuities to your on board account.

  17. This sounds ideal, luxurious and to my liking, I understand that it comes with drinks package, WiFi, priority treatment, dedicated areas, lifts and butler etc but at what point do you start paying due to your package that is not fully inclusive for example access to the Spa and dining area.
Do you pay for Spa treatments and dishes on the menu.

  18. As we're an older couple and not willing to deal with crowds and chaos this sounds like an ideal option to get all the features we'd like on a cruise, but with control and a bit of peacefulness in the process.
Also of note is the fact that we're not into waterslides and night clubs, but wouldn't mind the serenity offered with the Yacht Club package. We certainly might not fit the criteria of the typical luxury cruise passenger, but by wouldn't you want the perks that come along with the package.

  19. Another sensational review. Also, I wanted to add to your "who this is for" in case others are in our situation: My husband, a disabled vet, has mobility issues and Yacht Club is so helpful in terms of having everything so close, i.e. the restaurant, the top sail lounge, pools, etc. We love their Sea class ships because everything is so close. On some of their other ships the Yacht Club restaurant is in the back of the ship and too much walking him. Also, without the the tram to the Yacht Club area on Ocean Cay, it would have been a no-go for us otherwise. Seashore is our favorite. Thanks again for all you do and share on your channel.

  20. I love Yacht Club and am a solo cruiser. One thing you neglected to mention is that solo cruisers MUST pay for two. So in other words, you pay for two people even though you’re only one person. To add insult to injury, I don’t drink. I would have loved to opt out of the drink package for a cheaper price. Since I only eat for one and I don’t drink, they’re making out like a bandit on me.. but I love Yacht Club so much, I suck it up— paying more that $4,000 a trip.

  21. Fantastic video summary of the MSC Yacht Club! My wife and I have been yacht club cruisers since 2015 and I could not have said it any better!!
And one piece of clarifying info for everyone regarding the Yacht Club priority elevator service: it’s only available in the forward bank of elevators. Just something to keep in mind.

  22. This is probably the best well-rounded review of MSC Yacht Club that I have seen. You nailed the highlights. We are sailing on the MSV Virtuosa next month with the Yacht Club service with some friends who …. Well let’s say …. are a bit discerning on service and food. We have sailed on Yacht Club on our own and on Royal Caribbean suite class with our friends. We were so impressed with Yacht Club that we talked our cruising buddies into giving it a try. Personally I agree that Yacht Club beats Royal Caribbean suite class hands down. I can’t wait until our cruising buddies fall in love with Yacht Club as we have.

  23. Hemos estado dos veces e. Yatch Club en el Mediterráneo y fueron dos experiencias maravillosas!! Lo recomiendo muchísimo 🎉🎉 Ahhh aquí las propinas estaban totalmente incluidas

  24. Thanks for this video! You have answered so many of my questions about the Yacht Club. I pretty much sail Disney Concierge with my adult children or go solo, but am looking into trying MSC Yacht Club. I just bought your book Stand Alone and am looking forward to reading it and sharing it with others.
