  2. Funny how "Homeliness" means different things in British and American English. I wanted to think he meant the British version of the word, but I got confused when he put the word "American" in front of it. So which version? Plain and unattractive, or warm and comfortable? 😂

  4. Nice video Jack, very nice boat. I love the fold up transom, fantastic idea. Funnily enough I was talking to someone last week saying one of the builders should look at doing that. Then lo and behold!
    Crew space is okay, but could be better. But i guess you only have a part time crew on this. The midships galley is great, so much space, very communal. Excellent layout.

  5. Although it is well executed here some american yachts comes to mind that used to have that layout for a bench seat and table in the country kitchen. Lazzara comes to mind with their 76,80,84 feet series from the mid nineties to around 2010 they featured a sky lounge with a bridge, and the same dinette arangement with similar windows like this yacht. If you wished, you could also have a flybrige and then the dinette was smaller to make place to a small bridge but same great view when eating. Sometimes good ideas disappears for awhile only to come back and now it the new thing all over again.

  6. Wouldn't mind a little more range, but the layout is a really well designed use of space while being both
    inviting and comfortable. I do agree with you about the excessive "white" outer decks and being quite bright.
    Pretty cool yacht overall.

  8. Have you heard of the Arc Sport? Just came across this recently, it's an electric wakeboat from California and seems to be pretty groundbreaking in how boats will be built in the future. I’d love to see a review about it and hear your opinion!

  14. I think there are some good points for this boat, but it’s not as rounded lines as the European competition. There’s no sign of any aft winches. Definitely need teak side decks etc.

  15. The Horizon V77S is hitting a lot of good notes for me! Love the main deck galley and the owner's cabin. My only drawback is I think the exteriors could do with some teak.

  17. I like the video, thanks. However, the repetitive audio/voice bit between segments is nice for a video or two but wears you after a half dozen. Just my two cents.

  19. She is certainly a looker. A great interior design. Love the galley in the centre like that. Plenty of space on board. Just wondering how big a boat can you pilot Jack. So would you be able to take this one out for a journey ?. A great video by the way. thanks for taking us on a tour of her

  21. Another great tour! This is a very nice yacht for sure on paper but in the real world, I'm struggling to figure out what it would be used for without more space for at least another crew member, if not 2 because the current configuration with 2 crew only would not be enough, unless you're lucky enough to find a willing couple with double hats each, i.e. skipper / deckhand + chef / stew. Such a 24 m yacht is huge to be owner operated. You'd be slaving away to keep it in good nick. After paying all that money, nobody would want to do constantly the chores such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, cooking, paperwork, maintenance, did I mention cleaning, let alone worrying about all the logistics and docking etc. Let's face it, the conditions won't be ideal all the time either. It would be a shame to do day trips or weekends only with a boat like this, not going afar from the marina and their services.

  33. One thing you can say about the Taiwanese builders , they build really solid boats , generally heavier built and their joinery is another level , more staid design but they last longer in terms of looks .

  36. A very beautiful boat. To be honest for the 6 Mio. $ in the thumbnail, I would see this as a fair price or even a slight bargain. Especially with the big living area on the main deck.
