A little cylindrical manual hand pump (about 2' long) for about 10 dollars would work great for pumping out any water that gets in the amas. Light and effective.

Looks like she is coming along Sam. I must admit I let out a scream when you cut holes for your deck hatches. I raced cats for 20 years and when they are screaming along under high winds and big seas, a great deal of the load is carried by the exact spot you cut. I expect quite a bit of flex there now so watertight will be a lot more challenging I expect. Hoping I and wrong but…
