Another great episode guys and good decision making ‼️ Never good to bash the boat around. It's when things tend to break and chafe. You both are having quite the North Lattitudes season. 🎉🎉🎉 See you next week. ✨ 🌊 💨 💨 ⛵️ 🏝 👙 🌞 ✨

  2. That was some hellish seas! It looked like you were getting very close to that breakwall. I think I would stay in the Caribbean! lol. Stay safe!

  3. You think this is rough?
Imagine no gps or electronics, crappy maps, low on food and cloudy for two weeks so you can’t get a good sextant fix.
Is that what people call the good old days? Doesn’t sound good. lol

  4. You guys get better & better in terms of both sailing & video presentation, you deserve a far bigger subscription base. Changing from turquoise seas & white sands to colder climates has enabled you to show how ‘real’ you are which is an absolute credit to you. Well Done indeed and thanks for sharing your story, enjoy a cold winter in the UK but no one will criticise you for hightailing it back to warmer climbs 🥶

  5. So proud of you two making it this far as first time cruisers.

You've come a long way since the days of Toronto just say'n.

I knew going north this late in the season- you would have trouble with

seas and weather windows. But then again there was the Faroe Islands.

After the England visit- the Bay of Biscay awaits. That will be fun- sorta.

You could have gone directly to the MED- with Italy, Greece, maybe Turkey as

ports of calls- you control the helm in your adventure.

Yes the Carbbiean is a favorable spot, more predictable, clear waters,

warmer for cruising but it is just a tiny portion of this world when

traveling by sea. Did I mention warmer?

Hang tough Jibsea- you are from Canada, you know what toughness is- eh.

  6. Bristol Channel is where I learned to sail as a boy in the 1960s. Cold and wet any time of year. And it has the second highest tidal range on the planet. Second only to Bay of Fundy in… Canada! Your avian visitor was probably a Barn Swallow (Hirundo rustica). He or she was en-route to southern Africa. April 2008 I had one cadge a lift ten miles off Exmouth, Devon, England on the return leg of its annual migration. Love 'em.

  7. The seas you were in around the 9min mark looked as if you were outside Skomer and Stockholm which would have put you in the ‘wild goose race’ a notoriously rough piece of water. Your journey around the north and west of Britain has been really interesting to watch…

  8. If you need a break on dry land, my wife and kids are about to head to HongKong for the Winter but I’m staying to work. So have plenty of extra rooms in Woolacombe, Devon. They aren’t back until mid Feb, you’re welcome to stay until then.

  9. Remember this is your ride you don't need to fight against the sea ! Work with her you will be rewarded…..!!! Cross to the Med luv's.. You don't have to prove yourself to anyone… But the Sea… Your both brilliantly wonderful people.. Thanks for sharing your lives with us! ✌🏼💗😊⛵

  10. Just let the birds stay where the birds at give it some fresh water and some bread crumbs or whatever to eat that's a blessing when a bird picture boat to rest on don't shoot him off to die cuz that's all that's going to happen he's tired that's why he's sitting on your boat. It's bad luck to shoot a bird off your boat when you're at sea….

  11. I use to have a little 26ft Laguna in southern California and always liked hunter sailboats. I enjoyed your video.
