Great news! The design will probably hugely benefit from Boris' on the water race observations input on hull shape and best design tweaks to perform better with added safety in severe Southern Ocean conditions. And maybe obtain better upwind performance in all conditions. Read the new boat has a banana hull shape which should be speedier off wind foiling in rough sea state. Plus possibly less drag going upwind. But maybe at some point, Boris can explain the hydrodynamic benefits of the design after spending some time with the new boat. Looking forward to the July launch. And thanks for the heads-up. Looks to be an awesome race for Team Boris Herrmann!!!

Keel the headsails and mast to win the race. Open to modification then you deeply keeled headsails and mast. The person who becomes academic keeling design first wins the races.
