  1. Lovely vid…..such a genuine couple showing an honest view of sailing life ….give me this all day rather than the Reality / influencer wannabes and phoneyarsed drama of certain other channels ……

  2. Yes, i have my dose of calm and beauty for this week far from your side of the world. Bonjour Elena and the handsome young man on holiday from University 🙂 Ryan your most recent grooming fashion statement: sans barbe is rather fitting. Your footage of Elena near the surface as your film from down below was brilliant. i love the light, composition and moment. bravo
until next week, all the best and please be safe. cheers

  3. Beautiful photography as usual, loved the underwater filming. What a wonderful place……wondering if you got the dengue fever from here. Stay safe lovely people. X

  4. You kids are truly in Paradise! The waters are so very clear and the wildlife abundant. Awhile back you mentioned selling SKUA, is she still on the market and if so, have you had any interested buyers? I hope you are getting enough work to keep you going and enjoying your surroundings. You both seem very happy!

  5. Thanks. I love your videos. I lived at sea with my husband for many years when I was young.
We were working sailing doing yacht deliveries and we had our own boat.
I love your yacht and you all seem so at peace together!
I'm stuck in london now in lockdown and it's very refreshing seeing you leading a good life on your boat.
    Thanks, lisa burns

  6. Beautiful, nice video, audio, music choice. You appear more content now, uplifting to see. As for lobster, the hand spear, or one with a rubber sling works if allowed there. Love your location. We need to get somewhere like that soon. 👍😁

  7. Hi guys hope you are staying safe miss your blogs, any plans in the pipeline just one question would you have another Tayana how do you rate them, Im looking at a couple and a Hans Christian would be interested in your thoughts all the very best

  8. We used to draw a circle in the sand and have hermit crab races. Whoever’s hermit crab made it out of the circle first won! That little guy would be a good competitor!

  9. Another wonderful episode. Always liked hermit crabs. That little guy was awesome! Just ignore people. I'm tired of people judging sailors for not having their sails up…You don't know what's going on…They might have chain plates ripped out…LOL In my instance I need replacement sails. My sails are the original to my vessel and she is 43 years old. I use them when I can but not in strong weather, greater than 25 kts, because they would blow out. This is on the list of things to do but sails are EXPENSIVE! I'm going to take my old sails to a shop and see if I can get a few more years out of them till I can afford new ones. They are failing at the seams not the fabric.

I have the exhaust manifold off the engine right now to replace the exhaust elbows that failed. Hopefully that will be done this month so I can take a shake down cruse in March. I'm now fixing the result of an improper installation of the engine. The mechanic didn't realize my engine was 2 feet below the water line and didn't install the sea water system accordingly. Also, the exhaust mixer was installed higher than the exhaust out put on the engine…I have no explanation why he did this. I have fixed the improper installation last year but it was too late and the damage was already done. I'm fortunate that it only damaged the exhaust elbows. Can't wait to be able to leave the dock again…I postponed these repairs because when she was at anchor I didn't want the engine to be down.

Us sailors are mechanics, carpenters, seamstresses, cleaners, painters, etc…What I enjoy about sail life is there is always something to tinker with. I love tinkering with things…It's how I keep my self busy. Keep living the dream!

  10. We’re in Isla Mujeres so I know what you mean about hot. Thankfully we’re in a marina so we can run the air conditioner! Headed to Guatemala for hurricane season. Highly recommended

  11. Lovely stress free video! Thanks. By the way i forgot to mention on the last mangrove episode – brought back happy memories for me – i did the same and loved it – recommended for anyone down there…and worth snorkelling along the mangrove bank – the swarms of tiny fish are amazing
