Ok put a chain hook on one end of a 20 or so ft line and run that back to your sail handling winches works every time . No windlass needed

Why don't you pick up a old lady grocery cart that folds up flat and weighs about 4 lbs. You may not feel it now but you're gonna wish you did. Because the damage you're doing to your body joints is for ever. Take it from an old guy , that it's going to sneak up on you quicker that you can blink. You can pull a hundred lbs all day long in a cart and save your joints for when you need them. Like a lion that has only so many chases in his life and when his joints are screwed then he's dinner for someone else ! That's why they give chase only if they know its a sure kill ! Cheers
