Another fantastic video! You guys have become my new favorite sailing channel =)
Merry Christmas guys and thank you again for such beautiful videos and great editing. But if you don't want things to go wrong get rid of the bananas, they are bad luck on a boat, or so they tell me, fair winds
For those of us that don't sail……yet, can you explain putting a reef in the mainsail? I understand it's purpose is to reduce how much sail is exposed to the wind, but can all sails be reefed? Do they have to be modified first? How many times would you reef before you just take it all the way down? Thanks in advance for the info. Keep up the wonderful videos.
I wish I could give you more than one thumbs up! Your photography is beautiful. Merry Christmas!
Belts failing frequently, sounds like a pulley alignment issue, another absolutely brilliant episode, just cant get enough of that exquisite scenery, i think your decision to sail to Alaska has been a wise one 👍👍👍
so cool and serine .. you can keep your Bahamas and tropical … this land calls to me wild and untamed 🙂 oh and great video as always lol
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Malin & Johan !!! P.S. Johan, how many hours were on that belt ?
So great to see my country in a sailing channel. Thx RAN! ❤️🇨🇦
Very enjoyable as usual. The slow pace and peaceful beauty of British Columbia are delightfully captured by your increasingly professional production values. 👍
Of course when the stress builds (i.e. passing through the narrow shallow channel) Malin resorts to her native language. Love it.
If you're continuing to have issues with fuel getting old in your carburetor. You could try something called Stabil. I use it in my motorcycle, four wheeler, outboards, lawnmowers and weedeaters. I have let old gas set up to 6 months in one little outboard and it ran fine. You can get a version that treats against ethanol build up in your 2 stroke engines. It works in 4 strokes as well. Your tension may be too tight in your belt for your diesel engine. Good luck!
Thank you for showing parts of my beautiful country I have never seen before 💞💞🇨🇦
Another beautiful video! I love your choice of music and I also love the times when you let the scenery speak for itself. You two are fantastic!
loved it subscribed good luck xx
Wow. Great scenery and nature and everything. I never thought of Alaska as a sailing destination.
Catching up on past videos of yours and I don't know what you were eating, but it looked delicious!
Your videos make me want to do what you're doing. Very well shot and edited. I've been binging since I found you.
11:00 maple syrup. isnt that what you want to sneak onboard in large quantities while in canada at low local prices, to avoid big tariffs from export regulations?
You shoulda went through Oscar pass . Much deeper
He he using the rest of hot water for dishes and Yohann having to enjoy an icy shower …that’s cheeky 😎
Absolutely Beautiful up there…!!
Hi ,Rust on the v parts on the pulley faces can ware a belt quickly try cleaning them up and try some belt dressing ,best of luck
Nice to see my local area from a visitor's perspective. Shame I didn't catch onto this channel until after you've been by.
Salmon tend to jump to get rid of the sea lice that attach while at sea
When then start their run and enter brakish water they tend to rise n jump.
I think i'm overdosing on your channel
🤣🤣
Take care you three 🙏⚘
some times profiles on tooth belts are different profies ,,,,i found on my cam belts on my rallye car engine ,i found the cord inside the rubber belts was cotton and had some belts made with kevlar instead of cotton worked very well motor reving to 9.5 k,,,,,check your steel pullys also for ware or damage,,, 75 amp alternator puts a heavy load on the belts plus the load from the water pump when the engine starts
Both the food & scenery look spectacular.
Johan, I was wondering when you'd repair the outboard? Great job.
