I just watched that movie. A great move, a great and very sad story. I knew it was a true story and first I thought she found him again on sea, what is normally almost impossible. When she said "I'll let you go now" it was very sad. The best is she kept on sailing till today, the right choice I think. Did she take his ship, he build and lived on it and sailed? I would!
Thank you very much for sharing your life story.
I just watched the movie it's so good and it was a true story
I just watched this and cried so hard. It so sad
Who's here from Mr Ballen? What an incredible story. Tami is exactly what a Hero looks like. Huge respect.
Just sobbing and hugging my sleeping fiancé after this movie. This was so hard and so unexpected. I was so relieved when she found him on the dingy. My heart is broken
What a hero. I wish her the absolute best and may the man rest in peace.
why did she laugh so much?disrespect…
I loved this movie, it was so powerful. I think that Shailene and Sam were so good in it, they’re so talented!
It’s so sad too tho, I hope Tami and their families are doing well all things considered.
terrible movie
Well survival is not a choice but you don't have to be a specific gender to survive in the real world anyone can become a strong warrior it just depends on if you choose to let your weaknesses become your strength
I think most people who don't know anything about sailing or celestial navigation would have died. I mean, let's say I was out there with someone who was an expert but I knew nothing and this happened? I wouldn't even know what celestial navigating or the math or the how to figure it out. She had the knowledge and somehow managed to use it to survive. She is an amazing person.
What a cool woman! I love it. She seems so strong and so nice too.
i dont get it the guy didn't survive
just got here bcoz im a fan of strange dark and ………………
I’m watching this movie as we speak
Let me tell you….I wouldn’t survive the first storm. My heart would explode if I were facing an angry sea. I get chest pains seeing this. Good God!
spolth
I love this movie
I believed it until I watched this. Now it seems like it was a me2 movement. Not that I give a fuck that women feel empowered. That's great! But, she seems a bit over joyed to have gone through such a traumatic experience. Idk if I can believe that she went through this. No look of loss in her expressions what so ever and seems like it's a made up experience of a true story to have a record at the boxoffice. Good try Hollywood
Great movie. I'd really like to go sailing. I never have.
I heard she pushed him off the boat.
I can actually say this movie is bout the only one I nearly cried watching! It's sad and inspirational at the same time! So happy she decided to share this amazing story with us! I thank Netflix as well for making the movie available to watch now I want to read the book!
Just finished watching the movie. powerful and intense.
Why do i feel she killed him?
How stupid is the interviewer, like making a bigger deal of the actress then the woman who survived the ordeal like this interviewer has all the interview skills of a slice of bacon
It's not this goofballs story
who invented the ancient navigation system do find out about this instrument
