Hope it's marine plywood as if not will delaminate. Looking good.
Great video and really like the way you bring it as we all make mistakes and this keeps me rooting for your success. Sending wishes for Another Best Day Ever from Cincinnati.

Wow, Travis is everything, everywhere all at once
Travis is the shit. And you guys rock.
Great job guys, look very good. Keep up the sperit. Cheers from the Canadian in Thailand
Can't believe you guys are re-purposing that nasty a** foam section!!! bwahahahaha. Hey, for your cabinet door with the anchor design, consider cutting the anchor out and cover the hole with a ventilation grate. That will look clean and also give you some good ventilation in that cabinet.
So Travis Boats are built to square, no level or plumb, boat could be listing and never find level 🤔 square off something original to the boat such as a bulkhead, Rockin Roll ❤️
Was wondering which Hospital this excellent video was shot? Big project, but you guys are up to the task.
Well done guys, open mind and adoption of what you have are great tools. Best wishes from nz.
👍
Nice mattress guys, I just picked up a Canadian made foam mattress and cut it to size, feels amazing in the forward stateroom , 4500 CANADIAN instead of a 1500.00 marine grade mattress, good luck with the work
The scraping Stephanie did, wasn't for not. Because your wire wheel probably clogged pretty quickly if she had not. But, cutting the foam upside down was a pretty epic fail! 😳 Stay safe you two!
Ain’t boats fun.
Great work guys ‼️ Best wishes with the gluing as that seemed to be part of the initial problem. You will make it work.✨ 🌊 💨 ⛵️ 🏝 👙 🌞 ✨
Mind to seal the wood with a water proof paint, you will always have damp in a boat wood not sealed will soak it up. I cut stuff wrong all the time. I'm a skilled labourer. Remember measure twice cut once. If not sure measure again. Prep is more important. Hope that helped, time in prep makes a better job.
I hope you sealed the wood there will always be damp in a boat. Unsealed wood will soak up moister in the boat. Hope that helps, fair winds calm seas.
The new insulation while dark actually gives it a nice modern look, at least on camera. I imagine you guys have spent a lot of time thinking about the best way to use the space and repurpose the existing pieces into something attractive and much more functional. Great work so far! Love these types of videos and projects and no worries about the foam mattress cutting; it happens to the best of us! Keep up the great team work and look forward to you sharing your progress.
Hey guys, hello from port crest. A flap disk on a grinder will take all the leftover foam. We know because we removed all the carpet on the walls on our Hunter.
How don’t you have 1M subscribers? You guys are Beautiful and Awesome. I am telling all my friends.
Should there be some kind of vapor barrier?
I used the same stuff to insulate my v-birth and it has been fabulous all winter. I love it.
So … err … I'm not at all against reusing and repurposing, but that mattress looks 🤢🤢🤢 guys. I don't think you're doing yourselves a favor by not getting rid of it. Yes, you can put a clean sheet on it, but that's like not showering for three months and then putting on a fresh shirt. Please reconsider that decision and throw out that mess, you can thank me in a year. 🙂
go someplace warm…. yep trhats why we watch
Please get a proper mask. And fit it properly. You will thank me years from now!
I always love a good refit video, the Black looks really nice actually and for a garage/storage area that would be kind of nice to keep the walls safe from hard hits and what not. I dont think that was a fail in any sense at all it all worked out and youll never really know when its all together, plus you wont be the ones sleeping on it LOL. Great work again guys!!! cant wait to see what it looks like finished
You should always wear eye protection when grinding and especially when using a wire brush-the little wire bristles come off all the time and easily could fly into your eye-game over. I think it's time for new foam. Project looks good.
….. laughing ….. love watching two very hands on people when one has to more or less stand back, sit on their hands while the other performs the task ….. saw what was going on with the first lining up for the mattress cut and was hoping that it was that the camera was doing that mirror backwards thing that is so prevalent these days when watching things …. bang up job shaping up nicely …. thx for the share .. as always .. never stop dreaming, ust dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans ….
You both continue to surprise and amaze me. I can't believe you tackle a project like this. Can't wait to see the finished project.
If you're too bummed about the anchor being sideways, you might add a mirrored anchor facing the other way next to it, then duplicate them on the other side for extra ventilation (or simplify it to one anchor on each side if you prefer – the symmetry is what sells the effect).
Travis you should really use a respirator and not just that silly mask
it will come in real haNdy over the years and save your lungs
A lot of work right now But it will be worth it
