I had Conch Ceviche a couple of times when vacationing near Tulum, Mexico on the Carribean. Delicious! Keep going bro. I haven't missed an episode since San Diego.
Amazing episode , glad you got that engine running .
thank you to share all your adventures !
Very nice vidéo. Tank you James
Thank you for uploading your sailing videos. I've been restoring and testing my Camper Nicholson 33' over the last year and a half and I'm just about ready to attempt the Port Orchard WA to Portland OR trip. I'm kinda nervous but that's good and I put a hot rod Volvo 2003T 48hp in for the rusted Yanmar 12hp it had so if I have problems with the sails or wind I could probably motor the rest of the way if need be. I went to Fiji and Samoa when I was 9 on a vacation and I remember Fiji being awesome. It was like Hawaii except not crowded everywhere.
24:24 Whoa! That's going to be some tart Swordfish. Lol
James are you prepared for colder climates as well in terms of clothing and supplies?
Great sailing footage as usual James well done !!
James i watched this segment last night. Great vid man, sorry to see the coffee grinder snapped. on the starboard side. Hope you can make sufficient repairs in Fiji for your passage to NZ. Glad you came into Suva at night..I remember waking up in Suva and looking out my cabin window and thinking man look at the water colour..Yuck. I didn't find Suva that awesome as i thought it should be. Nadi is way better. I don't know what mooring in Denarau costs but I'd be heading there or over to the Coral coast, to the north. I found the reefs were barren and damaged due to cyclonic conditions. Lots of black tips though, very inquistitive too..when paddling a SUP without a paddle..I learnt all about fingertip paddling..
Out freaking standing my friend!
Why don't you fish along the way for food and just to pass the time and I didn't see any flying fish but very beautiful passage and weather thank you for your knowledge and kindness amazing beautiful
I'm from Northern manitoba canada thompson the hub off the north land off the polar bears thank you ❤️ your content
Very enjoyable videos. You have the right mix of technical and "entertaining" stories. Nice to see plenty of shots of what you're talking about; your personality comes through without having to be on camera all the time. A true sailor exhibiting great seamanship.
Thank you 1 Extra long vidieo !
So peaceful. Great music selection, it goes perfectly with the views.
How come you didn't spend any time in Tonga?
Adventure should be rewarded
Good job James. 👍⛵
Good job bro, i interest with you go. I am from West Papua🙏🙏🙏
You need to find you self a bird brother .
Sailing with a good girl makes it 100× better
Man your videos just chill me completely out and confirm this is the lifestyle I want to live ….🙏🧘♂️👁 🕉
Can you charge your starter battery from your solar panels?
Awesome! Any clues on the engine gremlin?
Would be interested to know what you have managed to fish and eat from the boat?
Great video!
the fish you made – it's raw (of course fresh) only chilled in the refrigerator with the vegetables and coconut juice basically?
I had a T-shirt from SuvaSuva YC, One of those and all I got was this t-shirt.
Good luck Truman
nice you got the engine running! do you know what the issue was? was it just sleepy for a while?
Hey mate, wanna see some south australian dolphins? I took a short vid while my friend and I were out fishing the other day…

Dosen't keeping food frozen consume a lot of energy on a boat. ? I think I would be leary about eating raw fish. There could be parasites in it. I remember some of the halibut that I caught in SE Alaska had tiny red worms in the meat. Hope I didn't ruin your appetite. I guess there's something to the saying the calm before the storm. Man I would think those winches would be bolted on very stoutly. How about a small shot of starting fluid ? I've always figured if I ever did this I would have to have an engine thats in top shape. So james do you plan to go threw the straight of Mallaca eventually ?
These videos just keep getting better, far better than anything that British TV has to offer at present. You possibly may have a small air leak somewhere on your diesel system if filters were good, but a crack of the injectors one at a time whist turning her over should be temporary fix.
Some sailors rig a secondry starter button in engine bay so that you can tighten them down whilst turning her over. Looking forward to seeing Fiji.
Man, that moment when the engine finally started was palpable from here lol~ so happy you made it
AWESOME. Thank you, James, for taking us along with you. ❤️😎❤️😎❤️
So basically you’re living my dream and my wife obviously would not want to do this (sound familiar) I would really like to meet you and if you ever dock in the Baltimore MD are (not as majestic as places you have been) but if you ever get this way plz Reece out! Love the videos and I love the fact that after what you went through you didn’t crawl in whole but said “I’m going to live my dream” not many people could do what you’re doing! Keep up the work! Huge fan of yours truly I am!!!
Awesome job brother! Watching you from Nassau Bahamas, wife and I sailed away from the states as well, 1978 Sparkman & Stephens (paid $4k) that we've worked on for the last couple years, no plans to return. D.R. is next! Love your channel, we actually found it accidentally some months back when researching USCG documentation, and running into your vid on that. It was helpful, thanks. I guess the algorithm started showing your vids, so we subscribed and love it!❤
What your doing is amazing. But I’m curious how your able to fund your adventures?
So relaxing 🙏🙏🤙
