Great video. Thank you for sharing…
Your lives are missing one thing only. I wish you the greatest wealth of all. Get this girl pregnant you fool. Time flies by. Where two can live, three can live.
I love the way you show so much but not too much that we get lost in just one location, well done great editing, keep up the great work and Stay Safe
YOU are a lucky man!!
I'm in Hagerstown Maryland 😂
Happy Anniversary from the Land Down Under. So tell me, after 11 years you two are still just a couple. When are you going to make it legal and become a family? Surely there are at least 2 new recruits you can teach how to be deckhands from a very young age?
The beauty of Rock Hall is the annual Pirate Fest in August!!
Thanks for the beer review!
You missed the neatest thing about Annapolis. It is home to the longest occupied state house in the country, built in 1774.
The movie, "The Wedding Crashers" was filmed around the Chesapeake Bay. The wedding reception scene was filmed at the Inn at Perry Cabin in Saint Michaels if you got a chance to see that location.
To bad that this year w/ Covit-19 the Chesapeake Log Canoes did not race … St Micheals' hosts several regatta's per year … they are MAJESTIC !!! … I've crewed on several … always a thrill … but the fist question always is, "Do you know how to swim???" … cause when one person screws up … you all go swimming !!! Signed a (crazy) Boardman/Flying Cloud … Harry
You found Rock Hall !!! That's Deep Ledge … up and to your port was Swan Creek … a beautiful anchorage … I spent my teenage years water sking and boating there. Were did you eat ??? Bay Wolf???, Watermans??? Next time explore the other side of Rock Hall, the Chester River … beautiful quiet anchorages … If you do please go to Rock Hall YC as my quest … Chef Mike makes some outstanding food !!! just tell them you know "Harry" … signed Harry Murphey/Member RHYC
Nothing like hikan
Happy Anniversary!
Great video. Glad you got to explore the Chesapeake, sorry work got in your way of exploring more of the Bay. You guys always look like you are having such fun. Happy Anniversary. My plan is to do the Chesapeake (on my trawler) in the spring, go up the east side, cross into the Delaware, then return to the Chesapeake and travel south along the west side of the Bay.
OK Bro do some fishing vids catching some whoppers .. That'd be cool
Don't run over trotline bouys . You sailors think they are navigational aids
Our October cruise started off Quiet Waters, then across to Wye Island, St Michaels, Tilghman Creek, and back to Annapolis. Great video!
I stumbled across your videos and have now watched them all. Our paths in life seem destined to cross. Here is what I mean. I currently keep my Catalina 350 in St Pete and sail the bay and the gulf. I use to keep my Hunter 34 (back in the late 90's) at Hometown Marina near Cape Canaveral. I have made landfall in Charleston SC after a week sailing in the Atlantic. I grew up sailing the Chesapeake and my parents owned a place on Warehouse Creek. Pier 7 Marina sits at the mouth of Warehouse Creek on the South River. I have anchored in St Michaels, Rock Hall, and the Wye River more times than I can count. My wife and I had our first date, camping, in Cunningham Falls State Park. I can't wait to see where you go next.
Happy anniversary!!! Thanks for sharing your journey.
Another great episode Guys, thoroughly enjoyed it.. Hope to see the next one soon.
Looking Great Brian.. Happy for you guys thats the way to live my friend..
Good stuff you two and Happy Anniversary. I learned to sail on the Chesapeake, the Virginia side and rivers. We now sail out of The Harborage in St. Pete where you learned and bought your boat……Small world. Was out on Tampa Bay on Sunday, great sailing day. I guess you two are somewhere in FLA or Bahamas by now, hope you are having fun and be safe.
Hey you guys! I stumbled across your video while searching Youtube for anything Chesapeake Bay related. It wasn't until the birdseye shot of your boat docked at Pier7 that I realized we met several times last summer! I was docked right behind you on G-Dock at Pier7, on Hot Pepper! What a treat to watch your video!! Miss you guys! Hope you come back some day!
In a sea of sailing channels you bouy above the rest! I discovered you yesterday and now eagerly await the next "season" of your adventures. I particularly enjoy your direct editing style peppered with wit and humor. The mix of candid moments and beautiful scenery strikes just the right balance. Seeing you grow into your new life will inspire many to do the same. Fair winds and following seas!
How do you fly the drone with just the two of you on the boat? who catches the drone? nice episode and 11 years? 🙂
Nice video! You know Jeff Spira named one of his boat designs after the Wye River.
Lovin the Cummins engine hat 🎩!! 🤙🏻
I've watched more Grey's Anatomy then sailing videos so I'm more of a surgeon then a sailor…but why don't you use a sock for the spinnaker?
Nice Mandolin! Do you play guitar also? I do, and am planning to move onto a boat full time. Any advice on keeping your instruments safe and dry on board??
