1. I'm wondering if there any plans to offer a Kracken in the 11-12 meter range in a similar exterior style.

2. Where is the solar? A modern cruiser to day needs a ton of solar! Generators make it to a motorboat!

3. Found this because of Sailing Millennium Falcon. Awesome boat, so well thought out, obviously years of sailing experience has gone into this design. Practicality, efficiency and safety to the forefront.

4. I want one. I particularly like no gas! As a survivor of a home explosion due to a natural gas leak this is a must have detail. And the drawer refrigerator and freezers are perfect. Well done.

6. How tall are you? I'm wondering about headroom.

7. Congratulations on the Galley design and layout. It is safe and easy to work in in any weather without the need for a galley strap. Great countertops for all the reasons that you have stated along with the separate rubbish/scrap bins and abundance of storage.

   Have you considered a double bowl sink? A double bowl sink would enable the person who is operating in the galley, usually one on a passage, to wash up in one sink and let the clean dishes drain in the second so they don’t end up on the galley floor which normally happens in adverse weather situations and even more likely to if placed on a counter top with a radius edge.

   Is there the option for a gas cooker?We have all heard the phrase “cruising is fixing your yacht in remote locations” and owning a true Bluewater yacht enables you to visit these remote locations and spend extended times at them. Therefore it is all about the yachts redundancy features and/or the spare parts carried on board. I had an electric cooker on my Lavranos designed Islander 56 C/C yacht and when the Fisher Panda 8kva generator broke down in that remote location, and that is where they do break down, I was only able to cook on my gas BBQ until I sailed back into civilisation and got the generator repaired.

   There is also the noise and discomfort of the generator running whilst you are seated in the cockpit trying to enjoy the serenity having sundowners whilst your baked dinner is cooking in the oven. It doesn’t matter how good your sound insolation is there is still that constant hum in the background and the cooling/exhaust water going overboard Plus the slight vibration that you can feel whilst sitting in the cockpit which is located directly above the generator and engine room.

   I do agree that there is the issues with the different gas fittings and bottles experienced around the world however nowadays this is overcome by swapping between cruisers as each go from one country to another. With regards to explosions on board,, New gas detectors and solenoid shut off technology has virtually eliminated this issue. I think more generators break down than yachts explode from the use of gas.

9. Excellent design, I love the boat. Although I must say that I prefer smaller boats, at most 40ft. If there ever is a Kraken 40 let me know.

11. Nice galley Kraken! My wife will love the rubbish bins arrangement… Is there any ventilation above the cooker? Opening window or some sort of hood? About the cooker is that induction or ceramic? Thanks for this video…

12. I was looking at an Oyster or Hallberg-Rassy. You now have me intrigued.
    Wonder if your flagship is also able to be short handed sailed…

13. Audie here, Dick. After almost a quarter-century of hosting up to 25 guests at a time in our Alaskan lodge, I can definitively say the number of times we have in use more than TWO burners on our range is effectively zero. Is there available for the shipwright a high-quality induction cooktop that has not three but two burners, ideally with at least one of them variable-size? Extra points for oblong.

14. I'm desperate to know the internal roof heights. At 6ft 4 barefoot, a lot of future hopes and dreams for a yacht come crashing down on my head when I realise I might not be able to stand up straight indoors in the saloon/galley/companionway/cabins/shower

15. I came over from the series run by Millennium Falcon and the more I see on Kraken Yachts the more I am impressed. The thought that has gone into everything is staggering, from a safety perspective the skeg hung rudder and the zero keel right through to the finer details making the galley functional whilst underway. Its a well thought out real blue water boat!

16. The only design feature I might add is a wrist strop for the biodegradable bin – otherwise I can see it ending up on the bottom of an ocean somewhere :-)!

17. You shouldn't have done the video when Sam was hung over. Poor guy can barely concentrate and needs a nap.

20. Smart thinking with the cooker. Indeed no more the hassle of having to replace regulators, bows at this port, at that port…

21. Beautiful boat. Great design. Safety built in to this "real" blue water boat.. Only criticism, the saloon seems very low as well as nav table. Looks like you could barely see out. I agree that bottled gas would be a problem, but what about the lithium batteries on board? I would rather have gas and old fashioned lead acid batteries.
