The first time I went through the canal in 1988 it coat $154.00 + $90.00 to have the boat measured.. I was on a 36 ft cat.
$2600 is cheaper than sailing all the way around! I hear that some of the big ships pay EXORBITANT rates.

Hey Jammie, the Outremer 5X two boats over from you guys in this video had previously been owned by Doug and Robin Hibberd. They now own a smaller Outremer 4X (the kids went to college) and recently Doug did a clinic on performance catamarans hosted by Brent Vaughan of Multihull Central along with Seth Hynes. Much of what you talk about, when you discuss Jupiter is talked about by these two sailors. Weird that I would notice the Outremer – what the hell is wrong with me, I've gone cruising-mad! Good luck getting the Visa to do the show at Annapolis! Teal, Linh and Emma Goben from Onboard Lifestyles went last year for the first time and were exhausted when Monday came around. They had the time of their lives!
Were you an International Pilot or Domestic Pilot? The scrutiny should almost be equal unless you were International.
