My mum went to a private catholic school and she was taught by the nuns and all the kids had to beg their teacher to sing this for their school choir and with much effort the nuns let them sing it (just as long as they were singing it to god) and now she is 63 and has taught the song to me 😊 I am so grateful that my mum has taught me the best songs
