  2. Nice 😀 Sailing without rudder is always a good way to practice boathandling. Spin around a mark without tacking or jybing is also pretty nice, but i am not shure if it works with the 29er tho :/

  3. Guys. That was impressive! I've been sailing longer than the two of your years combined and although I've balanced the helm many times, I'm pretty sure I'd be no match for you at all doing this.

  4. I have broken my rudder twice and both times we got back without it. Its really not that hard once you combine heel with trim to optimise speed which you need to in a race. The rudder should never be used to steer except on rare occasions. If your using it your slowing the boat down. Tacking with heel and weather helm is lightning fast and looses far less speed. Pushing a tack with rudder is a speed killer. Same with gybing. Great video.
