I am currently picking up fishing tips from “free range sailing” and Troy says you want to keep the lure quite close to the boat because fish are inquisitive buggers apparently and can’t resist having a look at your bottom! Buddy boating looks great with a shared sense of security as long as you can keep your competitive streaks in check!😉 Go well all. 👍

    Mark needs to sort out a new starter battery for Minki.
    Once it quietens down if the weather stays fair i suggested you should go and explore some of the Calanques national park just a few miles to the East .. you also have Cassis and Sauset …
    Have you got a Rocker stopper to help steady your monohull at anchor…ideally a pair you hang them over the sides in the water on your pole and boom and they
    damp down the speed of your rocking.. They come in different forms from like drogue shute's or traffic cones ..to flap slatted trays basically they are weighted and sink fast but designed to drag against being lifted.. 🤞🏻 see james on sailing SV Tiatrea.. he has just sailed to Hawaii in his vintage ⛵ from California's coast but he previously spent a lot of time at anchor off Catalina island diving and exploring.😎

    Have fun but watch out for the Mistral its almost as vicious as the Carmargue's mossies.🦟😉👍🏻😎⛵⛵
    Bigger bait tends to pull in bigger fish…plus bigger fish 🐠 tend to eat other 🎏.
    Watch out though for pollution if you get close to the Rhone s mouth there's a lot of heavy industry discharges and land run off low down its course.
