Acțiunea de după-amiază a concursului anual „Round the Island Yacht Race”.

What a lovely view of the yacht race well done 😊
Brilliant video – a bit too much sail in some cases!!
Excellent video. It's one of those races I'd love to take part in. Don't the yachts carry their engines? Yeah some needed assistance like the dismasted ones but others looked like, with an engine, they could make their own way back.
Fresh day !
Great video that captures the race well. (Participated on a 38ft yacht). Lively and unforgiving conditions this year.
Nice job. That's some serious wind, I am surprise so many chose to run their kites.
Wow this video clearly shows a number of crews that shouldn’t have been taking part due to incompetence
Excellent footage
Nice video, lovely views from the shore. We were on the other side of the lens though, and I can assure you that what look like “lively” sailing was in fact an utter shit show. 5 dismasting ( that I know of). 18 MOB situations, but thankfully no fatalities. Lovely day, but not for sailing, unless your hull speed exceeded wave speed. Been sailing JOG for years now, and that was probably the most nervous I’ve been on a downwind reach under kite.
Mayhem!
Fabulous video. Very beautiful and dramatic and exciting. Great photography. I lived in Ventnor for eighteen years and love the Island. Thank you so much. Congratulations.😂😂
I am still knackered after 2 days recovery. We started with 2 reefs but by the time we reached Yarmouth I was grateful. Stephara had her best finish at 141st – next year – new plan of attack…
Loved it !!!😊
Great video, thanks for sharing.
Witnessed race from Ventnor and this video is fantastic. Brilliant.
Thank you so much for this. Filled heart from afar. In the future, would you please consider putting this as 3 x 2:30-minute shorts? It might highlight offshore sailing, the IOW, and specifically Ventnor even better, especially for those with limited awareness of any or all, in context or not! Great job though. Thanks again.😊
Wish I was crew on the cat! Looks awesome! Great conditions
I've seen photos of a Farrier(?) tri and a big Gunboat 66 cat inverted, but plenty of mono-hulls in trouble here too.
It looks very windy 25 to 35 knots but not a singgke boat with one reef, many where dismasted .
Fabulous footage, well shot and edited. Great vid.
A great video and fun to see us on the Dragonfly 25 trimaran at 2:48. Thanks for sharing it
Wonderful to see this video as my son and his daughter completed that race. I think they did well in winds and waves like that👌👍
Lovely footage, Paul.
Superb video, thanks.
What country? What island?
Some cracking shots. We’ll done. IAN MCFARLANE
Hardcore sailors not taking reefs and running spinnakers to boot! Great gybes captured on film, and a good save of that kite by the crew!
To many over powered ! Bad sailing judgement !!
