Is it common to be able to anchor on day and then clear in the next morning? I would guess partly depends on what time you arrive? Oh, I would walk the “sketchy” path.
Who knew that checking into a country could be so…..exhausting. No that's not the right word. I know lets say "exciting". At least you got your weeks exercise in. Along with a fair treat for the effort. Maps are over rated though. Ya they can show you the easiest way to get from point A to point B, but you might not get to see or experience as much. One of my favorite things to do when I get some place new is explore, or as a friend calls it "getting lost", then try and find my way back home. Well at least to where I am going to be sleeping. All with out using a map or other navigation aid.
As always lovely video. Looking forward to what you get up to. Until then…
Yeah let's go the spiral route instead of the direct one. 🤣
You guys are good at making me laugh every video.
Heyyyyy….@ 7.55 that's us right there behind you. The boat that was stuck in the middle of the channel for 2 months and had to deal with those jet skis and power boats flying past every single day. The clearing in and out process really is crazy having customs at one location and immigration at another. We spent 9 months in Curacao….7 in a boatyard and 2 in Spanish Waters with ignition issues which meant we couldn't start the engine. Great video and hope you ended up enjoying Curacao 😀
Guess the final comment should be, "We got brain freeze eating ice cream so end the clip, in the town named after my wife."
lovely walk and I found the adventure quite enjoyable. The one reliable discovery in every episode is a pleasant conversation between you two and gorgeous visuals. I'm so thankful that you took us along and shared this day.
My island!! By far the best video i've seen so far…👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 Thanks..love u!!🌈🔥💟💟
Bedankt
Curacao is not difficult, the oranization of the sign in provides map reading practice, or to the advernturous, wonder_full and different experience. I have met the most interesting people, and have had unexpected experiances happen while lost, or semi lost.
Love your personalities, and the reminder of how much I liked visiting curacao.
Don’t let Briana be in charge of the map Iain. You know she has no direction 😛
You both need to go climb that cliff, would be a great vid.
A is for the elites and D well that’s for the rest of us …😛
They named the place after Bri 🥸
Who needs a map? Not red seas, that would make for a too boring vid 😜
Customers having prank 😳
Can Bri play the piano? She is good.
Did I miss the difficult sail part??
Nice video! We are now anchored in St Croix in the USVIs. We did get our Starlink installed when we were in Puerto Rico. Good diving here and I suggest you put a stop here on your travel list. Crew of the Watoosh. Rita and Lonnie
Brioni Background music is TOO LOUD during your voice overs. Fun day. Ice cream looks good.
