  2. A good amount of work in the time spent and some great skill levels. Small hint is get a bigger paint brush, less strokes and fewer paint laps.

  4. Wow whole family is a gem..I wonder how is it possible to know so much of stuff what you guys did on this boat. Where do you learn all the engineering repairing using tools etc.. Really Great 👍

  5. That amount of work is INSANE guys you rock !! All of you sincerely !
Also thank you for this lecture I can not describe it any other way ! As a beginner and wanting to sail my own ship one day this is a master piece of demonstration of what a ship can take both in damage, deterioration and repairs.
What a job ! I hope you have a grat time on that beautiful craft you revived !

  6. Do you know where that sailboat is from that sailboat didn't happen to come from Long Island Smithtown did it if not there was one very very similar in Smithtown at a welding repair and Fabrication Shop that I worked at very very similar to that Carl's welding and guy ran it or Clay's welding and guy ran it or something like that it was 1993-4

  7. That boat did not happen to have great big massive Square cone shaped blocks of lead for the ballast of about 17,000 pounds did it each of those blocks would have weighed about 3 to 5,000 pounds so we had four to six of them around the shop whoever made that boat that same design a boat was made on Long Island in Smithtown at a welding shop I don't know how long he had been preparing it I think he mentioned 20 years in 1994 I don't know where you guys are exactly so I don't even know if that boat could have made it over there but that was 30 years ago

  8. Oh wait I'm sorry I need to make sure that boats made out of 3/16 and 1/4 inch steel if that boat's made out of 3/16 and 1/4 inch steel then they're very similar

  9. I watched it with great pleasure ! This is a titanic job ! Well done ! In 97, he himself went through something similar, restored a 20-meter lake tugboat, replacing the bottom and interior decoration. So I can imagine how you managed it !
    With respect

  10. I have bought a boat for 2k same as you but in my one the work was very very less than yours. In fact we finished all in 3 months !! So I know exactly what you guys have been through. And I can say: you are crazy 😜 with a boat in that condition I wouldn’t even start!! But you did!! So honor to you!!
