  1. Should I really spend my time for a fast recap of what I already did see? Well, it is UMA, there even a recap is a piece of art that keeps you looking because the story is told fluent and shows each highlight not too long and not too short. Loved it.

  2. Such a pleasure to watch. You have achieved really big goals with the next one ahead of you. I am looking forward to see how you pull this off too. And I am sure that the best Uma that there ever was will come out of this. I wish you both the best for your future and I am thankful to be able to watch you on the way!

  3. I don't remember when I joined, but I remember the big refit, with the lazy Susan (I forgot what you called it) and I know I'd been around for a while by then.
While my wife and I are planning boat life starting next year, we can't do the sailboat, so, we are buying a power boat and will be starting by doing Americas great loop, then who knows what. I work a 3 week on, 3 off schedule, so the sailing dream is going to have to wait for a while. But, the loop can be done with my schedule. We've sold just about everything, but just need to sell (maybe) our sprinter we lived in for a few years then actual boat shopping starts.
Deciding if we want to go the "budget" route with an older boat that needs work, or just bite the bull it, and buy something newer and just get going. 🤷
I've always admired your get it done and make it happen attitudes, and of all the sailing channels I watch, yall seem the most genuine.

I also haven't forgot about the "pregnancy" hint that was given a while back. Been curious to see if it was just a prank….. Lol

  4. I've been following since the start. I even retired five years ago, so I usually view after midnight, (another story). I thought you guys were crazy to refit agin! But, I am getting it . Something I find myself thinking of you guys as my kids. Like, no, no, no, don't.
    But, Then……..just do it!!!!! 😘

  5. 1:00: ! A couple starts their journey of exploring the world by buying a sailboat and leaving the city behind.
3:21: ⛵️ The video is about the speaker's experience building and testing an electric motor for their boat and learning to sail.
6:26: 🌊 The video describes the beauty of the Bahamas and the challenges faced during the passage out of the Bahamas.
10:05: 🌊 After a challenging journey, the speaker and their companions successfully sailed to the UK, feeling accomplished despite the rough conditions.
13:30: 🛥️ The narrator upgraded their DIY electric motor and installed a used motor from oceanvolt to generate their own power while sailing.
17:35: 🚢 They successfully sailed to Spard, becoming the first all-electric sailboat to make the trip.
19:55: ⛵️ Sailing in Iceland was challenging but beautiful, with constantly changing weather and foggy conditions.

  6. Great job at Hell's Gate! How satisfying that must be. It's a whole lot more challenging by sail (and motor?) than the thirteen foot Whaler I was on 50 years ago. And that was no fun!

  7. I thoroughly enjoyed the flashbacks and reminiscing about those great times I am now re-experiencing vicariously again through your efforts! Finally I can get some good nights of sound sleep while on the hard for the next year, while UMA is renovated!

Large doses of Vitamin A (one big pill per meal) until your skin clears and then you can start reducing it to 2/day then 1/day. I had acne in high school and it was a terrible embarrassment. Finally a dermatologist gave me a medication that cleared it right up and I've kept it that way. The "medicine" was nothing more than Vitamin A. It was just a byproduct of an unbalanced diet for me. Hope it helps.
