Oh man, I loved that I could feel your collective anxiety and discomfort with the city – I personally love NYC, but it was honestly great to see the completely understandable collective shock you all seemed to experience trying to navigate such a wildly overstimulating (and often filthy) place!! I'd be just as shellshocked dropped onto a catamaran in the middle of the ocean!

9. I hate big cities and New York is one of the biggest. I have been up to it and around it to the north, west, and east but never into the city. I am a country boy. I have been through Chicago, Houston, and LA and didn't like them either. You guys have more guts than I do.

20. We rented an apartment on Manhattan Island for a month and never ran out of new things to do every day. NYC is amazing.
