Aladino is not a perfectionist he is swiss, which in my experience is a step up from perfectionism.
Very nice, should take you to the end now. GG Thanks for sharing 🙂
This is a testament to Aladino's skill as a carpenter/wood worker/boat builder – no shortcuts!! Shortcuts are the solution for the unskilled. Can't imagine a musician being okay with missing a note here and there and then be happy with the tune.
Amazingly quick assembled this work shed should supply you with all the comfort and protection needed this winter. Wishing you all a very Happy New Year! Great your in Canada for the finish and am looking forward to the launch.
I wish you Both a Wonderful and Sailing full 2024… Much Love …. :-)) xx
Well done with the temp shed. Are you a Virgo? If so I can understand about sanding the ply bits. I am a Virgo and I just cannot work rough no matter what it is I am making. Happy New Year to you both. Cheers Ian
Good work. You made a plan and worked it through. Your attention to detail is why the boat is going to be spectacular!
Nice job!! As usual, planning and execution is flawless!!!
Aladino's ingenuity amazes me. He can so think out of the box, to create his vision. The two of you are amazing with how you tackle your projects and maintain a joy filled life. You are honest, beautiful, and strong and willing to share it all. Have a wonderful New Year with the continuation of your restoration of Magic Carpet 2 🥰
Great job. Very similar sort of design to what I'm fixing to build around my project boat. Mines going be a bit beefier since my rotten old wooden ship is going to be a long term project. I still have to have it technically be a temporary structure in order to not run afoul of the municipal bureaucrats.
Loved the "sun dial" effect from the camera stand.
the side bracing should be a zig zag NOT all in the same orientation or it can fold up and fail (bottom to top at 45 degrees then top to bottom )
Glad to see you guys back with Dad helping out. I can't wait to see the goat finished and you sailing finally.
Very good Aladino. This shed shall be well needed part of you getting Sailing Magic ready. Question is that Vancouver I see in the back ground ? I know out there in the Vancouver area you have been getting some high winds and has that affected you so far. Keep up the great work both of you and catch you next week. Happy New Years
Great work folks but before tarp day add diagonals (not hor or vert) to front and rear façade or the first gust will collapse your tent sideways. You might consider a few diagonals in the roof structure as well. Keep up the great work!
Certainly would not have expected less in terms practical, efficient, and pleasing to the eye – great job!
Tidy, you will be able to camp out ON the boat soon as well as IN the boat 🙂
4:02 Most people who think of themselves as perfectionists are meticulous by nature, but the hyper-attention to detail is not perfection. Perfection comes from repetition, and repetition yields efficacy. Therefore; meticulous shipwrights build clean boats. Perfectionists are watchmakers 🙂
much love from Switzerland to Aladino and Maya! My Brother was a big fan of your show and loved the build. Unfortunately he past away a few days ago. To sad he will see your finished work from up above as soon as you have it done. All the best for 2024
Impressive! Efficient and sturdy. A pleasure to watch come together.
What a difference this will make for you! It's always so fun to have a quick project, especially when most of the boat projects are quite extensive.
Nice, quick, and effective. Thankfully no worry of "snow load". Just a few freezing rain episodes to keep attention to. I've appreciated the workmanship you two have demonstrated over the years on your channel. I understand Maya is not a lover of the building but the sailing. I selfishly enjoy seeing your boat work. Thanks and good luck this winter!
Maybe I done it but happy new year to you all, i had last year also a same tent bilt over my boat and I had make walking planks on the tent so i standing next the boat on hip height that was so great dan you can work ease on the outside en inside working. End ondertekend planks you work ease to the onderwater hull.
Can your Dad pleaseeee do a tour of his camper van!
After all that work – I would have thought you might have built a proper set of stairs to enable access to the yacht a little easier. climbing up and down a ladder all day with tools and gear ends up being a pain
So this is winging it Swiss style…? 😂
Fantastic!!
And very nice by announcing others rehab watch.
Tally Ho is my favorite one
On every sens.
You are number 2😁❤
Always impressed w/ your work!
In the uk 🇬🇧 here that timber would have cost about £2k
Really catching a better look at your boat now that she's out of the shed. What a beauty!!
The balance between A work and B work is a tuff one. It’s hard to be sloppy when you love craftsmanship
Working with a dear family member always means so more then with a hired hand. That bond is stronger then anything else out there. Be safe, from the Philippines 💞
top 3 favorite channel..
The weather is about to get cold and ugly, and the wind has been for a few days now. I hope you two stay safe and warm!
all what you do is of highest quality even the boat shed amazing!!!
