It seems "boxy" inside.
A compelling clean design with the following observations:
Helm:
It looks like the helm station is too close to the screens and the screens are too vertical. I am not sure if this is just from the perspective of the camera pointing downward but it feels like the operator's view is blocked by a near vertical control panel. It should be angled further back.
Cleats:
I only see two port and two starboard cleats on the upper decks. I know there are additional ones to aft as well. Tieing up when sidelong would seem difficult. For single handed operation, unless you are using remotes to control things, one would need to walk briskly through the cabin to get out an tie up (could be tough on a windy day).
Port and starboard hulls:
They seem just a little on the narrow side. I am sure they help with forward speed but interior space could be improved with just a little wider width on both.
Outside access:
A forward hatchway to the foredeck might help provide access to the deck for docking. Maybe something on the forward starboard side, opposite the helm?
Outside railing:
A solid railing at a height above the windows would make side access a little more secure than the cables. Hand holds the length of the roof line would also be welcome.
Power:
I wonder if this builder is looking into hybrid options. Lots of room on that roof for solar.
Final thoughts:
On first view it looks amazing. I am not sure I would attempt crossing the pond on it. It would be an amazing coastal cruiser or canal cruiser on the wider canals of Europe.
Love your videos. Keep'em coming, please.
I would be interesting in this Design with only fully electric powered + storaged in batteries E-motors, generated of inplemented photovoltaic cells in whole body… Time of using for burning Diesel / fuel are gone absolutely !!! Investments like these get made for next 15 years… but not in technology like an oldtimer level, not? Nothing heared about Transformation in to EV's of boats cars trucks bikes? Mama Mia, wake up guys! EV technology are ready to use it, now!
Really nice clean and efficient design, but I couldn't live with that helm station, way too cramped.
Beautiful .
Great design leaving new owner to put his stamp on finishing touches consul ect I love it as is
Its not a boat its a space ship!
8knots in force 7 10-15 feet seas would like to see the sea trail video for that then i may be impressed and then you can call it an explorer. Not flat sea state like in this test. Also like many of the comments below total lack of solar. But not a bad tub for the med or east coast USA when the sea is playing nice.
The catamaran design with low profile speaks to the stability of this power cat. Definitely a sea worthy vessel.
Not feeling the helm station. its blocking the view out..too tall. def needs a dedesign. otherwise, beautiful cat!!!!
3000 NM?
Beautiful and unique design, especially the bedrooms ! But some detail may have been shown, regarding the engines and access areas/other fuel/water, etc.
that boat would be incredibly if it had a hybrid drive system, a big battery bank and the roof covered in solar panels.
you would basically have unlimited range and the solar panels would easily cover all regular power uses like AC or basically anything else running on the boat.
Helm needs tilting forward and agree roof with solar
Hulla cow !!!
How much to buy im malaysian langkawi
Great Vessel! May be some escape hatches in the Bedrooms is the only thing I'd like?
Um dos mais lindo…
Weird they haven't any solar on it and a hybrid diesel engine from start. Look like a nice catamaran
looks nice, but missing some solar panels there
How much?
Yeah, sadly missing solar panels!
the ugliest interior I've ever seen
Nice boat, but the ergonomics of the helm station is ridiculous. It looks fine for standing, but the steering wheel placement is just stupid when you’re sitting.
Bigger Wheel would be nice
Needs an aft motorized platform.
I’ll take one …….in my dreams with my make believe money
The big question is where do you put your feet while on watch at the helm?
No helm station is complete without a possibility to put your feet up 😆
Can you mount an optional sail and mast a top it just in case of power loss or solar panels?Plus if you are solo traveling,I want a 50 caliber machine gun on the bow😁….you never know when you will run into Pirates.
Is it bad that I don't like it?
Wish there was a look at the other quarters, engines, ect. Not that I've hit the lottery I don't even play yet. 🙂 This is a really cool cat. I'd love to see the performance of a hybrid.
Can this one be used in all parts, like even in antarctic for the exploring or how does it compare to bering 77
Would have been great if it was electric or even hybrid, big diesel engines cost a fortune to run
Just how over priced is this ?
If only it were an eYacht. I'd pay around $2M for something like that.
Isn't the cockpit screens a bit high? Like it blocks too much of the view for the captain.
Looks like semi-professional use, not for living on board. Not good ergonomics, not comfortable for relaxation. Maybe for north Europe and heavy weather is OK.
Thank you for coming out to test our first-ever build, great video! We were delighted to have you onboard 😀
What the hell is in the other hull? We only saw 1 hull right??? Did I miss an entire hull? Surely they didn’t mean to just show what’s in 1 hull.
This cat looks pretty fast. How's the engines inside?
What a great boat. Why not rake the helm station at the same angle as the front window, and use that space to the left. Maybe have the windscreen wiper parked up and out of view.
Sounds great , you just need to put some Photos 😅up so we could check it out It’s gonna look like what’s taking so long. Put up some literature.
Work on your celsius to fahrenheit conversion.
