One of the many things I love about your channel is how you describe the nuances of solo sailing. Only a solo sailor can fully appreciate these little things that quickly become big things if not anticipated. Best wishes
Love your documentary!!!!! ❤
You should have done a kick start for John or some type of fundraising.
Thank you again for the wonderful content. I'm a day late with the response because I was on a 1200 mile trip to look at 2 boats. I'm still on the search.
Those lobsters are very expensive in Japan.
Never forget how lucky you are. This is what dreams are made of.
I really enjoy your episodes with Dan as you are so obviously happy when you’re together. Maybe sometime in the future you’ll sail together on your boat full time…..😉
My family was there in 2008 and helped put in the first mooring. We spent a magical week with John and the whole village, treating us with fabulous dinners and music every night. John hitched a ride with us on our boat back to Honiara. Nice to see his dream is still alive, although I hope that too much success doesn't spoil such a magical place. Also, at that time, there was a question as to whether there was fuel left in the boat. I hope that was resolved.
I used navionics for a year. I was swearing by it and so resistant to a Garmin. I got a new boat that comes equipped with a Garmin and for the first couple months i refused to use it. I had to spend over $100 to get it to work and i didn't like that since its on a brand new boat. But now that i did i find it incredibly accurate and much more detailed than the navionics app. But thats only my perspective. Appreciate ya
❤ your Journey my Friend!
Keep on keeping on ❤
