1. Age catching up Ross. It does not help with the fall. Take it easy for the ext few months buddy. You don’t want to e all broken at the finish line.

  2. If I wanted someone to build me a Caterman it would be you. I probably be dead before it's completed 🤣🤣🤣🤣😇😇👍👍Just Having fun mate.. Awesome work!🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺

  3. Man that uggly knee is even ugglier. I truely hope you are well on the mend. Lovely details everywhere on the hulls👀👍which more than made up for the knee exposure.

  4. You ain’t kidding about this vessel being the business. 💯. Got a name for her yet? Suggestion. “This isn’t Interim.” (Just joshin) seeing you in sitting in the saloon just gives the scale and size of this boat! Its massive! Get to the dr and get that knee checked out. Mass importante! To you and Janet, cheers sir! (Those blokes at the auto shop best know you’re serious about this build lol,)

  5. If you videotaped this with an camera phone I’d still watch. Looks great, vitamin c for circulation with the knee. I’m 55 and it’s a bitch getting older but hell we can do it 👍😃🍻cheers from Florida.

  6. That knee looks like you had a large hematoma. The baseball lump on the inside of your knee. The old blood that was there, and gravity is reabsorbing into the tissue on the way down to you ankle. You may have torn a blood vessel in the back of your knee when you went down the rabbit hole. Its amazing the hits the human body can take, then repair its self. Speedy recovery,

  7. Take care of yourself 1st Ross, ignoring that kind of bruising can be as serious as a stroke. Boat isn't worth much without you… get well soon !

  8. My knee… my knee !! yet you were still kneeling and no knee pad, i may add! Maybe i should call you "Rob" ( Sailing Kiwis channel) the two of you would make a pair when it comes to not taking care!! Amazing how many of your followers expressed concern over the incident, not accident because this was preventable. My knee is just now mending but still needs to be elevated about 2 hous a day. By the way, your vessel is quite lovely. Ooo <Janet; do not choose greys. They will dull your interior look and affect mood. Look at he waters you will be in, turquoise / teal / blue / aqua. Let Nature be your pallet! 🙂 Ttfn

  9. It looks like your videos are lagging waaay behind your actual progress. Are you thinking to launch the boat this season? (I’m thinking June through November in Australia)(I surely hope so)

  10. That CAT, Is looking awesome I want to pay the price to get to Australia and enjoy a pint across that table with Janet (captain of the vessel) while you man the helm. Looking good !

  11. The way you can integrate and finish parts that had so many components and make them into an attractive single looking component is almost miraculous. Your many years of expertise are really shining.

  12. Come on Ross, the only knobby knees we want to see are the 'Hull Boobs' up front! Are they finished yet? Or are you having too much fun polishing the Butt end?

  13. You and Janet need some high quality nee pads. I have been there with the swollen knee. Being on your knees as much as you two are, even with out the injury down the road you will pay for it. ( end of lecture )

  14. Love everything you're doing got a question how far behind are you on your videos about 3 months or more if so have you ever thought about doing a long one and getting close to getting caught up 😊

  15. If you don't take care of your knee NOW you will be suffering for YEARS! I made a friend in therapy after shattering my knee. He went back to work early and now walks with a cane. My injury was worse but I followed the surgons and therapists instructions TO THE LETTER concerning exercise and rest and I have a normal life. Please take care of yourself now so you can enjoy the future.

  16. Yep staying out of trouble is more important than anything else just somehow got to know when you've got to your limit. Reckon the effort you folk have gone to is nothing short of superhero

  17. Yeh for the rain gutter. It will pay dividends for a long long time. It can’t be said enough, to create something from a raw material into something so beautiful with your own hands is an amazing talent. The little snippets have us drooling for the big reveal. As has been said by others Ross, please take care of your knee you’re going to need them for a long time. Also from experience it’s one of the most painful replacement parts for our bodies. Thanks for the content Rossco.

  18. My god man, you should be icing that knee like crazy. Inflammation prevents healing! Get a few soft gel freeze pacs and wrap the ice pack to knee while you’re working. Just rotate the packs to the freezer during the day.

  19. We are all not getting younger. With the push to finish the build, your body has done tons of overtime physical work. Plus all the mental thinking, designing, fabricating and installing. Falling through the hatch just adds to that burden. Rest, ice, compression and elevation. Change positions regularly, long standing, stooping, or awkward work positions only compounds matters. Alternate ice and hot packs when really sore. Take regular breaks.

The combing, rain gutter, sugar scoops flow coat and polishing are blending the modifications seamlessly into the hull structure. Same for the glued laminated strips. Rest assured Janet will pick some interesting trim fabric color selections. The Tassie wood trim looks ideal. In all that pain fog, copying and customizing chainplate templates. Janet's a life saver. An eye for detail. Spotted areas that need finishing to blend in.

Make a sign. Construction area, hazardous. No drop-in visitors. By appointment only.

  20. Good Morning! I have been watching you for years, and I respect you opinion! I am doing core deck repair on 2 boats, I'm using polyester and plaing on using gelcoat, have you ever used the Duratec additive? your thoughts??

  21. Ross, here's a way of rethinking last video's complaints is such, there not complaints, their voices of concern for your health and well being, .Ouches are not fun, I know as in my life I have had some that were not funny…

  22. Ive watched your whole build over the years, only one question has ever bothered me, How are you going to drain your black water tank ?
