  1. Bahamians have long been particularly welcoming to Aussie, Kiwi, Canuk, and Brit sailors, I found. We all share the same monarch, of course, but I think we're also seen as more respectful of local customs and less omnipresent than the Islands' closest neighbour. As someone who has never sailed a cat, but only monohulls, it strikes me that your multihull home better utilises whatever breeze there may be. It's obviously a faster boat foot-for-foot than our old rag-bagger. Thx for great videography once again. ❤

  2. I love how kind and caring the children are with each other. Bella rushing over to hug Archie after he was woken up was precious! Terrific content as always! ❤👍🙏

  3. Was interesting to follow your little 'racing competition'. Understandable how this occurs unintentionally but inevitably whenever more than one boats are headed toward the same destination. No speed limits! I'm glad you've acquired enough seamanship to fare pretty well. Good to get in on some of the fishing action in the Bahamas. 'Twas kind of you to head a safety demonstration for the kids. Your class was covered in a bit more detail by one of the other families, in the Monday Never channel ep 65. I've heard from several sources that it was a splendid gathering. I appreciate you spreading a little Yuletide cheer at the end, even knowing the video wouldn't be posted in a timely manner. 🙂

  4. Let me guess. The family on Leopard 46 is from Brisbane. The 48 is from Sydney. The Lagoon are from Tjuntjuntjara, and the other Leopard is from Kalamburu. ONLY Australians are crazy enough to race their million-dollar cats in 2 meters of water. 😀

And by the way, the speed of the boat is defined not by its engines or sails but by its hull(s). For monohulls the calculation is simple – square root of the length in feet multiplied by 1.34. For cats it's a bit more complicated, so let's pretend I just don't want to bore you. And whatever you do it will be IMPOSSIBLE to go faster than the hull speed. For your glorious vessel I don't think it's too much over 10kt.

  5. 2:00 FINALLY! Told ya it'd be fun! And by the way, if you swivel the boom to either side and tow someone on a lanyard, it'll be EVEN BETTER. *devil smiley*

  6. Banana Pancakes and Everyday Saturday/Jadyen Morse making cameos in this episode! That's a good group of kids sailing around that area. Be awesome for the kiddos to be around kids their age that are boat kids and know how to make fast friends.

  7. 9:02 It's the size of your balls, too! 😀 But on a catamaran it's simply pointless. On a monohull you risk broaching and some very unpleasant things. On a cat when you overdo the sails, the mast will simply snap. OR you will find out why you have windows on the bottom of the boat. 🙂

  8. 14:15 Finn is SUCH a symbol of youthful energy. Hey, Australian advertizers, you're about to lose an opportunity with this family. Archie – shampoo and hair products, Finn – fashion and debit cards. COME ON!
