1. Holy shit!!! I'm speakless… There is big boatfactories, and there is BIG boatfactories. Their attention to detalis in their buildingproccess is just amazing! As a famous british boat-youtuber says: FANRASTIC! 👍🙂

  2. I know nothing about boats but I found this so interesting. Just the plywood mockups even take a lot of skill! The guide is so nice and enthusiastic. Greetings from the Philippines! I'm sure your yachts must be visiting the islands here!

  3. If the wires hanging out from the underside of the display in the 'customer sales / spec room' are what they allow in the sales area – I think I'd find someone else to build my yacht. Attention to detail much?

  4. A trip down memory lane. Princess is huge. Nearly 30 years in the industry. I really don't miss it. I miss the guys. Certainly don't miss the hours, the smell, the way it takes over your life.
I've spent the last 10 years earning less, breathing a lot more fresh air and being able to be there for my family.
Now I'm a self employed furniture designer/maker. Having now made pieces for Museums, Michelin starred restaurants & private customers.
There is a life after boat building and it can just as rewarding.
Just saying, if it wasn't for mortgages, there would be a lot less than 3300 employees. It's hard work, long hours, lots of stress. All that, to make someone else's dream boat. Get out, live your life.

  5. Nick, you said "absolutely fabulous" … it was absolutely fantastic. Ross seems to be a wealth of knowledge about every facet of the operation – that's not always the case with sales folks, so very refreshing. As always Nick, this was hugely entertaining … and now I get why these boats cost so much. Kudos to Princess, and special Kudos to you Nick. I've watched one or two other boating-related YouTube clips, but your channel just seems so much better. Your camera work is really excellent. Your narration is so easy to listen to – a casual flow of information, just like chatting to a mate. And most importantly, the entertainment value means I keep coming back happily to watch the next. I'm just about to watch part 2. 🙂

  6. Love your videos Nick – long time fan. cracked up when Mr Princess commented on “doing our part for the Environment with solar panels” when the sheer amount of petrochemical products they use etc is staggering 😂😂

  7. Absolutely amazing video and very enjoyable to learn the building process. My question is why are they air conditioning the outside deck area, or is this how much money yacht owners have to burn?

  8. I have zero hope of ever buying one of these, and really not into boats because of that but was facinated by this 'documentary". Well done for doing this and really good on Princess as a company allowing this insight. What a cool company and I would buy a boat off Nick if i had the money. Good ambassador for Princess.
