Cool
Very nice
How much ?
Why is there no crossover with the decent line?
I just bought a Quatix 7 sapphire and the map manager doesn't show lake view or any marine maps being available so i guess them being pre loaded is not true.
Does Navionics work on this like the apps on the phone? Start and destination routing. That is the only thing that is important for the final decision.
Does it have oxygen saturation measurement ? And REM sleep function?
Beautiful
Can you tell if quatix 7x can show training readiness status as fenix 7 do? Wanna upgrade to quatix from old fenix 5x just because of the look, but dont want to miss any new fenix features. Thanks for your review
Hi Bobby, could you kindly tell me if this smartwatch has the speed tachometer function, i.e. if it indicates the speed knots only on the smartwatch without being connected to the on-board chartplotter?
Hey Bobby explain this: It does NOT support Navionics nor does is support vector charts (they are rasterized… Uggg!). The problem is that Garmin includes golf and ski charts but not navigation charts. Huh??? WTF Garmin you sell it as a boating watch! You will need to purchase them separately! Charts start at $129 for European regions, $149 for a SINGLE U.S. region, and $219 for the U.S. and Canada. Based on the size of the display and the way I use my watch, I don’t think I can justify the expense of buying (and then updating) charts for a sub two-inch display. This is a boating smartwatch and Garmin decided to monetize the nav charts. This is the most disappointing aspect of this already expensive product. Garmin needs to fix this and stop with the false advertising!
On the plus side, this is a really good smartwatch with advanced features like controlling Fusion stereos, autopilot and Garmin chart plotters. It has all the workout features of the Fenix 7 plus boating software. Nice! The battery is excellent as is the heart rate monitor. But to include golf and ski charts while omitting nav charts on a watch marketed for boaters and forcing customers to pay for them borders on greed. Still, I like the Quadix 7 but will not buy the charts.
Does the Quatix 7 standard also have an LED flashlight or is that only on the pro?
I want to know which marine charts can be used on my quatix 7 standard. Ideally, I want to use the same charts on my echo map uhd2 chart plotter and Garmin 79 handheld.
Great video, thank you! I see the Garmin web page and there are 3 different quatix: standard, amoled and solar. I have an Apple Watch Ultra and a Quatix 5 and I am thinking on upgrading to a Quatix 7 because the 5 doesn’t have touchscreen and some times it is complicated to use it with the buttons, compared with the Apple Ultra. There is big differences between the standard version and the amoled or solar to pay the price? Where can I find a comparison of the 3 models? Also, the Quatix 5 bands and the Quatix 7 are compatibles? Thank you!!!
Can this watch track walks also and do what the epix pro can do?
Does the tack assist feature (taking the mean of the boats angles on port and starboard) work with the just the watch or does it have to be paired with somthing

Can this interact with raymarine products? My chartplotter and autopilot are Raymarine.
Which sensor does this watch have ?
Would you have an upgrade for this model soon? Many Thanks
software macchinoso e lento, display imbarazzante per il 2024. Smartwatch da quattrosoldi ce l'hanno infinitamente migliore. Praticamente illegibile al sole, figurarsi controllare le mappe in navigazione…
Hi, I have a Raymarine Chart Plotter and Raymarine Autopilot installed on my yacht. Will this watch work with the Raymarine autopilot? Thank you.
