Actualizare Vendée Globe Thursday Morning - Full Throttle Charlie

#vg2024 #imoca #vendeeglobe #sailing

  1. Brave Pip, you don't let yourself be defeated. Your creativity is great. I'm looking forward to repairing the sails. Make good progress and stay healthy.
    Greetings from Germany ❤🍀🙋🏼‍♀️🎅

  2. Thx for all your updates! Really nice and convenient way to keep one up to date with all of what is happening every day! Maybe you can include where the leader is today compared to where the leaders of past races have been the same day. I would find it interesting to get that history, and also get an idea if we might get a new record at the finish. Thx from 🇸🇪

  3. Wow Charlie is the man, incredible he's been able to push his boat like that and then repair his boat. Omg we might be witnessing a miracle run

  4. Thank you, thank you again for your daily report. 👏👏👍
I am soooo glad to see and dear, that Pip Hare feels a lttle better now and that she is looking forward. A great woman‼️👏👍💙🫶
Wish you a nice day with greetings from Eckernfoerde/Germany again 🎄🕯🕯🕯🤶

  5. Thinking about Eric Tabarly and all the other great sailors that have been lost at sea because they fell or were swept overboard (RIP!) it makes me quite uneasy to watch Oliver Heer without a lifebelt.

  6. INSANE!!!! watching Oliver Heer running around on deck not clipped in, one bad wave and he's a tragic statistic!!! sets a poor example

  7. what is this guy celebrating with champaign? Yes, one gets tired with drinking champaign 😉 He should wait till the end or at least past Cape Hoorn

  8. 6:45 Do my eyes deceive me? Video snippet of Oliver Heer walking forward across a pitching deck attached to NO lifeline? I'm struck dumb; is this not impossibly dangerous? Or is the thinking that if he goes over the side attached to a line, there's no way he'll have the strength to fight the force of the water under (high speed) sail to climb back in?

  9. Some of the videos of the yachts flying are AI produced, looks silly with the water splashing artificially around the boat, maybe, there should be a reference on all AI produced images by law. This can get really dangerous with false information fast.

  10. French supremacy! But everyone is amazing sailors, I sail myself and even the last one of Vendee Globe is 4 times faster than me ! Unbelievable

  11. Pip, we are broken hearted over this dismasting, yet all of us know your future plans will include a knowledgeable understanding how to prepare for further endeavours. So good to hear you'll be arriving in Melbourne for Christmas and please please be safe.

  12. Exciting updates as the race approaches half; especially touching is the emotional sharing of Eric Bellion , his emotion of being in this grand event, “I love my boat” – I am with you Eric! The fact that this high tech boat is taking you on such voyage SAFELY😊 and that we get to accompany you over the air waves is phenomenal thank you Eric! Neptune giggled with you at Cape Leeuwin 😊 and watches you sail along, continue safely and keep enjoying, we delight with you Skipper, best wishes from Chicago, near mighty Lake Michigan best left alone in winter😂
