1. I love the look of the BayCruiser – such a classic look but also modern design – but I'd want one with a fixed keel and bigger size.

  2. One of my favorite things about this channel is your attention to detail on every yacht you visit, regardless of size and cost.
    Well presented, Toby.
Even though it has no heated towel rack, she is a keeper!

  3. Thanks for reviewing this beautiful little yacht Toby. I've had my eyes on Swallow Yachts for awhile. Magic is the word! Haven't convinced my 1st Mate (wife) yet, but I'd love to be the proud skipper of one. Living in Oregon, not without challenges to come by one here. Always enjoy your reviews- usually the dream Yachts most of us can't afford. This is the everyday skipper's boat that will actually get sailed and not sitting in the slip sucking up $'s.
    Cheers, Dolf

  4. Great review Toby I can see you were impressed with this little yacht great to see that someone is building small boats not everyone who wants to go sailing con afford high marina charges or wants a big boat a bit like me at this stage of my sailing life it's a slightly smaller boat I will be looking for at present I'm sailing a 46 year old Moody and thinking of downsizing.

  5. Nice small boat test – well done! Com Pac in Florida does a nice line of smaller boats you should try and get out on. The Suncat is particularly clever.

  6. Yep I'm sold, I'll take it. To me this little boat suits me to a tee, it's just what I want for the type of sailing I do. Looks beautiful as well like a proper boat

  7. Sweet pocket cruiser! I used to be a little non-plussed about boats with an inboard well like this but discovered it has an amazing second function: drainage. Fear no wave, because you're not going to get bigger cockpit drains than that. It would be great if they built in a cheeky little 2 bottle wine holder somewhere. 😀 Really cool boat, and nice salty lines. Reminds me of a time when sailing was more democratized than it is now. Perhaps they're bigger, but there's a definitive void in the market where Folkboats, the old pre-Rassy wooden Hallbergs, and closely related Kings Cruiser 28s all used to roam from a bye-gone era. sniff

  8. She looks like a fun little yacht. My first keel boat was a Folkboat, small and wet to sail, but great fun. Anyone who has not sailed a yacht with a tiller has not really felt what it is like to, feel, the boat. Sadly at 73, I'm getting a bit old for clambering around on small boats. We rarely steer by hand on my French mass produced current and last boat, there is little point.
