1. Hi Fellas. I like boating – yachting. I used to go to Earls Court with my father in the 70s. Pretty sure the boats then, even the expensive ones, like Moody, Swan etc were not 20 times an annual salary. I have a good salary, well above average, but all the boats you featured cost more than my house & more than I could afford. Any comment on this transformation of the market?

11. Thanks for the overview. Theo speaking over Toby at times made it hard to hear what Toby was saying. Wait your turn mate.

    I'd pick the Dragonfly 36 also. Probably more manageable than the 40, and supposedly just as fast. The vast number of orders for a boat just announced speaks to the good reputation of Dragonfly and the quality and value of their boats. Congrats to Dragonfly, Jens and all.

14. bavaria and hanse not showing up on the show is strange, they are very close. either they are having money problems or they dont need the marketing. i think number one is clearly the case ive heard they cut shifts during winter. anyone knows ?

    And fully agree on the ‘value’ that the show is offering. Not only the yachts but also all kind of equipment.

17. We need more of these unfiltered chats. Concise and comprehensive, covering the top, mid and bottom of the price points. I know that luxury yatchs are the ones with more budgets for sponsorships and attract higher income audiences, but it was incredibly refreshing to hear the editors’ picks of the dragonfly 36 and first30, the soul of true sailors coming through, rather than the ostentatious display of luxury that appears to have more to do with insecurities rather than the love of sailing.
