Your fission type water in that deep of water. Of course you’re gonna text the fish that like the water on top needs deep diving Lewers just saying you’re fishing in depth of the water then fish are used to swim and it doesn’t matter how deep it is underneath them.

Tuna and other deep water fish tend to come up to the surface at dusk or dawn. Your lures are too shallow otherwise to get these type of fish. There is a weight and speed calculator to get a lure down to like 200 feet where they otherwise live. Bara love shiny shallow lures.

Finally a fishing episode! Barracudas are definitely an oily fish, but still better than catching nothing. It’s nice to see you guys fishing with quality fishing equipment. Several other cruisers I follow on YouTube are fishing with really old equipment that would not hold up well if you hooked a large tuna!🎣😃
I know everyone appreciates the one a day. Now if you could just catch anything but a barracuda. And the map? Columbus sailed right off the end of his. Not recommended.

At 2:10 on your video it would appear that your downwind shrouds are flopping around? Are they tensioned properly?
For better fishing spray your plugs with WD40. Fish are attracted to the smell.
From what I've learnt by watching other channels, is they are fishing the edges of the banks. Your lure placement is OK. Maybe bring one lure a meter into the wash. I've caught more in the wash than not. But I'm talking Sth Pacific. Otherwise keep trying for the sweet spot.
who told you that barracuda are only in shallow water? lol……u need bigger lures for marlin. You have the right rod and reel setup for them.
maybe the chip you bought was for the middle bahamas? Northern and southern bahamas are a different chip sometimes. Dont you have the guide in paperback?

Have you guys tried a planer board to get the bait to run deeper. You might get into some more pelagic's and out of the cuda's.
Was worried there for a bit if you were going to fall off the edge, but luckily it was just the map…this time… Better luck next passage with the fishing.

Was so hoping for a tuna. Was looking forward to watching you get it all prepared and in the freezer for the coming weeks. On to the day of fishing though.
Enjoying the fishing episode. We had no luck until we tried a "bara spoon". Not sure if this is the commercial name for it. But a very experienced fisherman gave us this tip and it work a treat in tropical far north Queensland. Good luck guys.
