Originari din Liverpool, au lansat primul lor material sub numele de Yachts în 1977 și single-ul „Yachting Type” în 1978, având ca B-Side piesa „Hypnotising Lies”. Apar trupe din acest gen (atât din anii 70, cât și din anii 80) precum Joy Division, Wire, Ultravox, The Jam, Buzzcocks și The Undertones

I love, love, love this song. I used to request it from a local radio station in Atlanta. The DJ would generally conclude the request with the words . ."and there you have it. Nothing is worse than a Yuppie with a boat." Great guitars in the band.
Damn , I never knew that Yachts were such accomplished shape shifters , this whole album rocks

Most under-rated band of all time…IMO.
