1. vang on to much and not enough body weight moving around for steering…these videos are not showing the right way to sail this boat.

3. I fully agree. The directions are correct but the video is not.

4. "Thank you for your comments… I would agree that the sailor could be more proactive on the entry to the gybe by instigating the turn with their main sheet and body weight. However, i do feel this video succeeds in its aim of providing the key points required for a "safe and effective" gybe. Although not perfect, most sailors new to a 4.7 would be happy to gybe like this consistently.  As for the vang, the sailor is gybing reach to reach and therefore has his sail set up for sailing on a reach rather than a run, without seeing his leach I think it's difficult to comment."
