Am pus la încercare șase motoare exterioare pe râul Hamble pentru a vedea care model de 5 CP oferă cel mai bun raport calitate-preț. I have a 4 hp Yamaha
U hold it on the wrong side u goose
That’s why the gears are difficult to reach
3:35 that has the Suzuki alsow
Lpg one is shit
How fast were you going with two people on board?
Watch our 5hp outboard review at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OS3aDn-AeuE
Johnny bairstow do you have a part time job as a boat tester?
where are you???
This guy is high!!!
And sitting on the wrong side 😂
I think the Mariner at the beginning of the video and the Tohatsu at the end are the exact same outboard. He even said in the video that Tohatsu makes Mariner's outboards for them.
Have most people not figured out that most tiller based outboard are set up to use them from the starboard side where everything is easy to with your left hand ?
Very poor audio quality! Cut it off!!
Very poor audio! Cut it off
Mercury also has 5hp with gas cans…
What a load of absolute drivel
Audio quality is dreadful. I assume the location sound was so poor on later reviews the voiceover was added in an echo-prone room. Pretty amateurish. Useful comments, when they could be heard, but badly let down by poor production. Could be so much better if some basic rules of video production had been observed. Must do better.
What about mercury?
What's the length of the dinghy
i wish you can try a parsun 5hp , i think is a good option for a fair price
Terrible audio
Berapa pH mesin?
You’re sitting on the wrong side of the boat you dumbass
Nice review thanks I’ve owned 17 or 18 boats over the years all sizes and propulsion systems I am a United States citizen and I’m seriously considering the Propane outboards for dinghies and other small craft mainly because of the Ethanol issues in marine enviorments even with non Ethanol available at some fueling docks it isn’t always convenient I do use additives but that doesn’t always solve the water absorption and corrosive factors it can do on carburetors and fuel systems FYI you missed reviewing one other Outboard (sort of) that being the Coleman banded 5 horsepower research tells me they are built by Nissan / Tohatsu when the engine says made in Japan and the ones that say made in China are a cheap Clone of the Nissan and are reported to have problems due to less quality control and not as good quality products as the real Nissan made in Japan I will add I’ve had Nissan , Tohatsu motors over the years in bigger sizes used on Inflateable Zodiaccbrand boats and they have all been excellent engines with little to no problems or mechanical failures ! I wish I could say that about all the other Mercury,Yamaha , and Evine rude , Chrysler outboards I’ve owned throughout my 50 years of boat ownerships
She is a huge factor in small motors. It would be nice if you showed the DB’s.
I use a 2020 Suzuki 6hp which is in essence the same engine and there is nothing inconvenient about the gear selector or lift handle if you sit on the other side….. really, and this is an "expert"
get to the part bich
Could it be that the video is projected as mirror image to avoid patent rights. This is common with many videos if you look closely. That might account for the "driver" being on the wrong side.
Most of the video was focussed on the speaker and not the motor. Not very helpful
Is 6 HP 4 stroke Tohatsu outboard is good for 2.6 meter inflatable boat?
Is this a student interm article?
You missed one advantage of running an lpg outboard, you can store sealed gas cartridges and unlike petrol it won’t go off over time, on a minus side it’s harder to judge your remaining fuel and if storing the tin can style small gas cartridges they could corrode through in damp salty conditions
Lehr is out of business. Parts are not available.
i got my 9 foot mercury rib yesterday with a 5hp 4stroke suzuki 02 mod i weight 140kg or 308 pound i got it on plaine didnt think i would had to work for it didnt measure the speed maybe 8-10 knots
My personal choice would be a twin cylinder two stroke! (if they were still made)
You should first learn how to operate a tiller outboard before giving reviews.
you say the gear lever is hard to reach, well you are sitting on the wrong side of the engine
Suzuki all the way!
