După trei zile în Cuxhaven, navigăm spre insula Vlieland din Olanda. Călătoria este de 150 de mile marine și durează 25 de ore. Avem o velă bună, cu vânturi plăcute și facem aproximativ 6,5 noduri de viteză. Vremea este rece, dar însorită. Din păcate, vom naviga spre o ceață densă dimineața a doua zi. Pe Vlieland descoperim insula și ne plimbăm pe plajele goale și în pădure. Zburăm cu drona noastră și obținem niște filmări frumoase, iar Johan face „semlor”, o patiserie suedeză. Suntem un cuplu suedez care și-a dorit un alt tip de viață. Așa că ne-am mutat la bordul barca cu pânze RAN, un Beason 40 construit la comandă din aluminiu, am dezlegat liniile în mijlocul iernii suedeze, ianuarie 2016, și am început să navigăm spre sud de-a lungul coastei Europei. Nu există un traseu stabilit și vom merge acolo unde ne duce vântul și mintea. This 3rd episode is still one of my favorites partly due to the breathtaking beauty in the final drone footage scenes and also seeing what was ahead of you both then and how much you've experienced since Vlieland. I knew then that you had a creative eye for shooting gorgeous nature scenes mixed with perfect music melted in. I'm happy to see you two 3.5 yrs later living life to the absolute fullest with your baby girl joining you soon !!

    Even though I do not like being cold.
    The winter scenery I see on your first few Vlogs is quite beautiful!

  23. Many years ago in the mid-1990's I was counsellor for a Swedish international exchange student.
    He prepared some traditional Swedish dishes for my family on the Swedish national day.
    We were friends and that meal was a very interesting and enjoyable experience.

  27. Having watched for years, the YT algorithm for some reason took me to your first posts, which I missed, and I am enjoying my mental comparisons of you guys now and then, pre-Vera and post-Vera. Watching you with the frozen lines five years ago, sailing in the snow, and seeing you test your new rig in January 2021 in freezing weather, I am marveling at how lucky he is to have found a partner who is a skilled, adventurous sailor like himself. From several decades of pretty intensive sailing I can say it is rare to find such a couple.
