Iată întâlnirea noastră cu jurnalistul New York Daily News și autorul cărții, The Chin, Larry McShane.

  1. I agree with you mate but what a pathetic way to stay out of jail I would rather just man up and do my time trying my best to stay ahead of it but I certainly wouldn’t put on a crazy act for all those years it’s not like he could of decided one day oh I know what will do I will go on a month cruise he couldn’t do it cause of his crazy act ffs and it was all for nothing anyway he died in jail with nothing so what was the point?

  2. Ralph natale was not even a made guy!
He was only a puppet for joey merlino. they made him the boss! because his age . natale was an associate with angelo bruno

  3. He was the Boss of the genovese family since 1975 after frank lombardo retired, lombardo also was driver for former boss lucky luciano

  4. He had a Townhouse on East 77 st right off of park avenue. So what is this guy talking about. At night he would go uptown and change his bathrobe to a shark skin suit

  5. Chin copped a plea because chin son Andrew got locked up in Florida and the Feds went to the prison and told chin they were going to put Andrew away for a long time so they used chin son as leverage. If not chin would have came out of jail in 2005 then the Andrew thing gave him more time and then he died

  6. Chin’s mistress Olympia Esposito was younger than Chin she came from the Eastside little Italy her father had a grocery store and chin knew Olympias father. In my opinion chin married his wife Olympia because chin’s family and Olympia family knew each other from Italy. Chin’s mother and Olympia mother were very good friends. When Chin and Olympia were born they would sit on the roof in the summer and always said they were going to marry one another. I personally think Chin married Olympia for his mother that’s what she wanted. My father lives with one of Chin’s daughters. I knew Olympia before she died. She was a very soft spoken woman, very easy going. Olympia Esposito would call Chin’s wife and say that they were together. So she was a bitch. Olympia never wanted anything. Esposito wanted everything she wanted the townhouse on the upper east side SHES it it. Chin couldn’t go to New Jersey cause he bribed the police department. So you could say they were separate every weekend she would go into the city to the neighborhood. I grew up on Spring street. When my father was younger in his 20’s he was married to my mother he cheated all the time. When they were separated my father was dating Chin’s daughter Roseann. He was driving her home in Old Tappan NJ it was snowing and he hit a Mercedes and it was a doctor. Roseann hit her face and needed stitches the cops locked my father up. Roseann called her sister Yolanda. Chin brother Ralph Gigante found out and my father got a beating. When chin found out he was mad he told Roseann he’s a married man what do you want with him. My father grew up on Thompson street. In 2013 my father bumped into Roseann in Staten Island and chin was dead and my father and Roseann started dating again and now they live together in Old Tappan NJ my father said chin must be rolling over in his grave. Lol

  7. You know what’s even crazier the apple don’t fall far from the tree. His son Sal also has 2 families. Andrew has just 1 they all are in New Jersey

  8. The Genovese family under Chin were very powerful, and they were wealthy. It was said that chin’s biggest worry was were was he going to hide all the money. When he died there was an apartment in the village there was those green army bags full with money . They don’t know how many bags. His 2 sons were the only ones that got their hands on all of it. The daughters didn’t get anything. Roseann told me that every year Her father would give them $20,000 for Christmas. Everyone thinks chin became the boss in the 80’s but that’s not true. When I was a kid growing up in the 70’s I lived at 196 Spring street and right next to my building was a barber shop I would be in front of my building and Chin’s car would pull up he would get out the car in his bathrobe. His driver would stay in the car until he was finished.. I saw a documentary on a cable channel and an FBI was being interviewed and said they could never catch Chin. In the 70’s The Feds worked 9 to 5 . So the Feds would be watching from an apartment across from the club. One time the FBI didn’t go home. He wanted to see what Chin did at night. He said a car pulled up and chin got in the FBI agent followed the car. 2 hours later chin came out in a Shark Skin Suit sharp. Got in the car and made his stops from that night on the FBI started working nights.
